TPBM is fighting their cat for the computer chair.
"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim
Actually, I take the night in like allll the time.
The person below me got a text in the last five minutes.
Going to NYC for the 1st (real) time! Seeing Next to Normal, Wicked, and Jersey Boys. If anyone has a suggestion for rush Wednesday matinee (something not mainstream) please PM me! :D

Wrong. Actually, I just started voice lessons this summer, and I can't really sing much in my range from a low-E to the A below middle-C, and the only music I actually know is modern musical theater.
TPBM is wishing he could hit a low-E like the thirteen-year-old poster above him.
BTW, do you think it's okay for somebody turning 13 in twelve days to call himself a thirteen-year-old?
P.S. That just reminded me how much I want to be in the touring cast of the musical 13 but can't because of my range. Oh, well. I wasn't really interested in the musical, just how awesome it would be to be an Equity member and how much easier it would be to be on Broadway when I grow up if I can say I was in a national tour at the age of 13.
