I'm a peaches and cream gal myself and totally love and embrace it. I even wear SPF 45 in the winter. What's wrong with being fair? I never understood the obsession with over-tanning (or tanning in general). The girls on LI are especially awful. Wait 'til they hit 30 and see all that damage. It's really important to take care of your skin. Why not just use bronzer or something?

DRG...please tell me you're not one of those people that tan weekly throughout October, November, December, January, February, and March? PLEASE! It's the WORST thing.

I went a lot in high school. I am thinking about starting to go right now for a couple of sessions because I have a wedding to go to April 1 in LA. It's on the beach.

Munk, I agree. I don't think it is too bad if you go a few times to get started in the spring. Many do. However, I do worry about those who go year round and just bake themselves. As a massage therapist, I can tell you those people who are that dark year round, their skin just peels off of them when giving them a massage. It seems very unhealthy.

As for PalJoey's comment, I think most people are divided on the tan line thing. I like a tan bum over a pale bum. Just my opinion though.

Way hot. So when you're done toasting yourself, check to see if you've developed any of these "turkey timers." Got them? You're done. Go see a dermatologist and hope you caught them early enough.
