Posted: 1/22/14 at 10:04amA compelling argument for leaking all Tarantino scripts.

Posted: 1/22/14 at 12:34pmActually a script based on this event could work. "Who Leaked the Hateful Eight?" A pissed off director, sure that one of eight celebrated actors leaked a script he had shared with them, goes, to paraphrase another Tarantino movie, "medieval on their asses" to uncover who did it. A kind of "Theatre of Blood" meets "Hitchcock" with a splash of "The Stunt Man" and, this being Tarantino, an homage to Fassbinder's "Beware of a Holy Whore."

Hopefully this means he'll go back to the next KILL BILL films.
But what strikes me as odd is that he's going to shelve the film because the script leaked (since people will already know everything about it before it's released?) so instead he's going to turn it into a novel (so that people will know everything about it) before turning it into a film?

Posted: 1/22/14 at 6:19pmI kind of like how he vacilates between "WHATEVER I DON'T EVEN CARE" to "seriously give me the names."

Posted: 1/22/14 at 7:01pmI sort of understand. It was an early draft to be circulated among people he trusted and now, presumably, it's everywhere. Kind of f**ked up, but I sort of get how that would put you in your head more and frustrate the creative process. And who the hell wants to write "for" people who were not sensitive that it was a first draft and not to be distributed?
