I was SO tired (been a bit sick and I was a bit naughty, too)
and was treated by being ferried to work in the Short Bus!!
Hooray! That incredibly versatile vehicle was also my chariot to work today..

actually not...
as DD will tell you, he wasn't even a bit naughty until I started egging him on..
we've even had a few moments where we've been a devilish duo to someone...
he'll THINK he's being naughty but he'll be Marypoppinstating :)

I let me down... for the second night in a row.. I was in bed at 11pm.
meanwhile, DD went OUT in WeHo and 3 LIITs later, he's texting me... I was so out of it, didn't see it 'til this morning..
but I was able to get up early and walk the dogs and watch people... cute kids, engaging women, hot dudes... all on a grey day.

apparently DD ended up having a fourth after that text message...
he'll tell ya he had a great time... I'm SO happy :)
I was oddly in control while he was gone.. here I was making all these protestations, yet, I was early to bed, early to rise.. darn!
yet.. I made up for it last night... DD & I left a place together, he was heading home on the #43 (he's a Hill dweller now) and I was preparing to walk home.. but I found a distraction... got home at 7:10 a.m. and left for work at 7:30 :)

The street in front of the house is still blocked. Still no motive or anything.
They were saying in the news that 'alcohol and marihuana were found on the premises.' I thought stoned people fell asleep and woke up with the munchies... not angry.

just for aesthetics, brother DD, I recommend that you drive a few blocks north and then head to 23rd Avenue going by Holy Names Academy...'cause the building is fascinating... (very, very old, as well)... and it will make you forget about that darn rave....
that neighborhood on Capitol Hill is on the edge.. the reason why that cop was so close and could react is that there is always a cop sitting near my mechanic at East Madison at 22nd.. 'cause that's such a crack and $5 ho corner.. yet, just blocks north it's $1,000,000 Edwardians.. go figure.. in between, as the transition occurs quickly over six blocks, you have a few rentals ... hmm
