Partial transcript of comments from the Thursday, September 13, 2001 edition of the '700 Club.' regarding the WTC:
JERRY FALWELL: "And, I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way--all of them who have tried to secularize America--I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen.'"
I won't be a hypocrite....the man is a Pharisee.

I feel bad for Terri Schiavo and all parties involved in that horrible situation, I certainly think the Pope has done good in the world and wish him no ill will.
Jerry Falwell? Puh-leez. Nary a tear will be shed. When word comes of his death -- whenever it is -- I shall go out to the bar in the lobby and raise an orangeade to his demise.

I heard a compelling case put forth by a Catholic woman today, who said Terri Schiavo really died 15 years ago, and was resusitated. And pointed out specific things in the catechism ("27.7" I beleve)that easily support the removal of feeding tubes. The argument that the treatment afforded Schiavo is in conflict with church doctrine is specious. Everyone throwing around words like "starvation" should be ashamed.
What I love is the tonal difference in the reporting. On Fox, big shock, the banner is always "Terri's Fight." No bias there, no?

I'm sorry.....but shouldn't this child be in school?

Many parents today are home schooling their children. They got tired of the liberal agenda that schools were passing off as education.

Parents used to do this all the time with their children in the 1960's. This is nothing new.

Maybe his home schooling parents might want to instruct him of the approximate locations of Alaska and Hawaii to the continental United States?

Perhaps something good can come out of all of this.

But yesterday even the NY Post -- Murdoch's rag -- took a front page stand on letting her die in peace, and calling Bush and the congress on the carpet ("not the President's finest hour...") What many people don't want to admit is how much this debacle offended a lot of conservatives, who see this level of government intervention as the ultimate nightmare, a Federal regime run amok. The judge who ruled and indicted everyone from Bush on down, was a major RIGHT WINGER, the same gent who voted against gay adoption in Florida. This 'debate' was not red state vs. blue -- it was Federal intervention into deeply primate matters. That part of it won't go away, no matter how much Schiavo is martyred.

It would be a shame that their little kiddies might have to hear about the science of evolution over the pretty myths of Genisis.
Rest In Peace Terry - I'm sorry the Christian Taliban took away your dignity.
