That Two and Half Men Kid

This show and The Big Bang Theory are EVERYWHERE in syndication. Meanwhile, I only by accident found a channel that plays re-runs of Cheers on a random satellite station.

The little pri*k is doing damage control.Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros have not said a word which must really be making him sweat. I hope they are consulting with their lawyers and reviewing his contract. The statement he released is just hilarious.

Wow! That statement has "press rep" written all over it. I wonder if Jones even read it before it was released.

You gotta think that his agent and manager (who probably get a combined 25% of his weekly salary) are sweating this one out.

"I never intended that."

Then what did you intend, Angus? (Who the **** names their kid Angus?)

I'd write that funeral scene real fast if I was Chuck. I hope Angus has saved up his dough, 'cause he's going to need it. Who's going to hire him after this? Maybe he and Kirk Cameron can do a sitcom together on that one Christian TV show network...

Yesterday - "The show is filth. Don't watch it".

Today - "I meant no disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed"

PRICELESS!

Actually, it's worth approximately $350K per filthy episode.

That Two and Half Men Kid

Exactly! He calls the show filth but he takes the money from that filthy show with no guilt at all. That filthy show has made him rich to the point where he will never have to work again in his life. He can retire at 19. I guess I could argue that this was God's plan. For you to live a comfortable life by putting you in a filthy show. Thank you Jesus!

I don't even watch the show.I recognized the kid but never even knew his name. I just think its dumb to bite the hand that feeds you and his statement just made it worse.

I agree, he's the first person in his life to change his feelings about his work. And, he's rich, so therefore he's a hypocrite.

You kind of sound like conservatives who automatically think rich liberals are hypocrites. You're the other side of the Goth coin.

Well, he is a hypocrite in my opinion.I do not automatically think anything. I'm calling this jerk for what he is.Don't know him, never seen him on the show.I just think he made a really stupid career move.

Well, if it turns out he no longer cares about his career, will that soften you? I mean, like I said, I think these sorts of religious "epiphanies" are just kind of uncomfortable and weird, but you do seem to be at the level of hysteria you get to over the political stuff, too.

That statement was not written by a 19 year old.

Next stop, Victoria Jacksonville!
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal "I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello

His character has entered the army and will prob on a less recurring basis than Holland Taylor ( ooo maybe she can be the 1/2 man- ironically speaking) Personally I hope they find Charlie Taylor's Illegitimate son looking 4 his dad & allan figures WTF? Mulligan it.

LOL! This.

That Two and Half Men Kid

I actually don't understand the mountain of hate coming at this kid.

He was put in a situation at a young age that was not of his own doing. Sure, he's made a lot of money, but does anyone doubt that he has seen some F*CKed up SH*T in the last however many years? There really isn't an amount of money that would entice me to let my kid be around Charlie Sheen. Is it any wonder the kid is lost and looking for some kind of stability in his world? Or that he would come to resent being in a workplace that was unhealthy for an adult, let alone a child?

#45

That Two and Half Men Kid

He's a kid going through a change. You shoulda seen how crazy I was at 19.

And he probably doesn't even think about the 350k in respect to this issue, or being blessed or lucky, etc. It's like Liza always says when people ask her what it was like to grow up with such famous parents..."where I lived, everybody's parents were famous. I grew up thinking that was the norm."

He seems like a nice kid trying to find his way out of his childhood identity and into his adulthood identity.
Art has a double face, of expression and illusion.

That Two and Half Men Kid

romantico, he was actually, before the show come to existence, a much wanted child actor who got a lot of commercial work and was in the film The Rookie. Personally, I think growing up half of your life on television does some kind of damage to you. And yeah, growing up half your life on television with Charlie Sheen probably would drive you to the pulpit. Also, how much do we know about his parents? What do they do with all of that money he accumulated? He might not be thinking of the money because well, he never was in the position to have a thought about the money.

I think it's really clear that fame at such an early age has done a number on most child stars. We see it over and over again. From Kim Richards to Lindsay Lohan, we see the same traits.

I'm not saying that Jones will eventually struggle with addiction issues, but he's clearly having some kind of identity crisis. I hope he finds himself.

According to the British tabs, it would seem the kid's homelife is chaotic. Parents divorcing, they have previously been busted for minor pot-related issues. One of the only way a kid living with such messiness can rebel is to find a religious cult to give him structure.

^^^
Exactly my thoughts, Namo.

I'm also gathering that he's had no constructive home life. Combine that with money and his lack of a chance to mature properly (i.e. have a normal childhood with school, dances, football, etc.) and he's ripe for falling into something like this organization.

I hope when he comes to his senses he finds balance and doesn't just end up falling into to another exploitative situation.

On the brighter side, I believe he does support a charity that proceeds donations to the LGBTQ community. So at least he isn't one of those idiotic Christians that hates anyone who isn't rich, white, male and hetero.
