OK. The guy who does the video is pretty annoying, but I found it slightly amusing.

I just dont think it's on him to worry about stereotypes...if he wants to use a rainbow umbrella, why shouldnt he? It doesnt say anything about me, so why should I care?

I like Louis Virtel. I like his writing more than his videos, but even so...I find him delightful.

I am the same way, Jordan. In this day and age, and with the fact that every electronic device that is capable of running these apps is equipped with a camera, there is no reason someone shouldn't have a face pic to share at least in a private chat.
And I think that actually qualified as a parasol.

Posted: 7/26/13 at 6:27pmI've tried Grindr a couple times since it seemed pretty much every guy my age (18-22 year olds) in my hometown were on there. It was just not my thing, and there are decent guys not on there. They are just harder to find.

OH MY GOD A FEM GUY WITH A PARASOL! HOW DOES HE LIVE WITH HIMSELF? AND THAT FAGVOICE YUCK
I'm in the camp that doesn't want to eff around with someone who won't show you a face picture. You don't even have to have one as a main pic (although I find THAT to be something of a red flag as well), but I am too old to be entertaining the notion of meeting someone who won't show his face. It's 2013. Gay people are empowered to identify themselves with a photo, even in Texas! People who aren't forthcoming with a picture are generally closeted, married, dealing with some other kind of shame or are just really unattractive, and none of these issues are my problem.
Also, can we please retire any profile that includes a variation of "mild to wild"? Thanks.

I've always liked him too! I think his writing is very funny, but I remember liking his deliver more in his youtube videos I saw a while ago. His voice has never bothered me.
The "Masc looking for same" has always bothered me the most. Or even better the ones that outright say things like "No fats, no asians, no fems."
