1. Art & JJ couldn't do the Fast Forward. You can only do one in the entirety of the race, and they did the one with landing the helicopter on the helmet. Dave and Rachel have already done one as well (with the hay). Only the other three teams were able to: Rachel & Brendan, Vanessa & Ralph, and Bopper & Mark.
2. I like Rachel just fine, but Dave is a misogynistic jerk. I wish she were her own team, so that I could root for her without having to root for him. (Although I did think it was awesome that he bribed the ferry worker to leave early in order to ditch the two teams that were about to catch up. Very canny move.)
3. I really love Bopper & Mark. After being eliminated from the race and returning home, Mark lost his job. He's raising three children as a single parent, and is now jobless. Bopper has two daughters (one extremely ill) and his wife at home.
They decided to try to auction off the trip they won in order to raise money to donate towards anti-bullying campaigns in Kentucky. Clearly, the two men and their families could really benefit from the money on their own, but instead, they want to pay it forward.
Today, they went on The Talk, and the ladies on the show presented them with a novelty check for $10,000. I teared up, I was so happy for them.
"They need another All-Star season pronto so that Mark and Bopper can come back and win it."
I think they should do a 'Fans vs. Favorites' season like 'Survivor'. Also, even though CBS never officially called it a 'Fans vs. Favorites' season, the last season of 'Big Brother' was very similar to one since it had new and former players.
According to Mark and Bopper on The Talk this week, CBS hasn't cut the checks yet. But they said that Art & JJ are still insisting that they are going to give a portion of their winnings to Bopper's daughter.
I knew Ralph and Vanessa were going to be out once I said I wanted them to win! Dave and Rachel were kind of awful, but I think they were probably the least awful of the remaining teams.
Dave and Rachel ran an incredible race. He's a douche, but I like her. She only becomes douchy when she's forced to give it back to him. I loved her telling him to "shut the fvck up" several times last night.
SO glad that Brendan and Rachel came in third. They had the worst attitudes. How disgusting did Rachel look when she started just chucking those discs down the alley without looking? What a terrible sport! Ugh! She's such a loser, and not because of her hair, nose or weight as she constantly states. She's just an ahole...and Brendan is an even bigger ahole, and not at all funny (she at least provides an occasional chuckle.)
They are charm-free!
The right team won, as gross as he was, they did an "amazing" job throughout the race, and I'm glad she was able to smoke that final challenge.
