Posted: 5/1/11 at 10:25pmSooo happy to see Kent and Vyksyn go, especially Kent. His whining was becoming intolerable. I wouldn't mind seeing any of the four remaining teams win. Two-hour finale next week, so set your DVR accordingly!

I am glad that Kent and Vyxsin went home. They really got on my nerves. I will be happy if any of the four teams win. I like all of them.

Posted: 5/2/11 at 7:44pmI agree. I think I'm kind of mostly rooting for Zev and Justin or Kisha and Jen, but I'd be happy to see any of the remaining four teams win.

I have to admit, I like Kisha and Jen much better this time around. Jen was such a stankface last time and I couldn't get on board with her.
I want Zev and Mallory to get married!
Me, too! I have a friend who is very similar to Mallory. I'd give anything to see her and her husband on the show as a team. I know audiences would adore them.

The final four teams were interviewed at the show's 10-year anniversary party in Miami on Saturday. I'll be fine with whatever the result is tonight, but I do hope Zev and Justin win, escpecially after reading this about Zev, "Glassenberg, who has Asperger's syndrome, has gotten positive feedback from the Autism community. "They've been really supportive," he says, "That feels really, really good." Justin is really nice too, "The whole experience has been great," says Kanew, 31. "Just the whole adventure. We've gotten to do a lot of things that people just don't get a chance to do."

beauty, it looks like your last post got lost in the ether.
I was sorry to see Zev and Justin go, too, but I like Kisha and Jen, so I was glad to see them win. The Globetrotters started irritating me towards the end, so I was really rooting for Kisha and Jen or Gary and Mallory.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 2:42amMy son wanted the Globetrotters to win, and I wanted Zev and Justin to win. So we both lose. But oh well.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 7:51amBummed that Gary & Mallory never had a shot because of a lousy cab driver. You can never tell for sure with the editing, but it seemed like they performed the tasks as quickly as the other teams.

"beauty, it looks like your last post got lost in the ether."
I think that also happened in the "SNL" thread too. I am disappointed that Zev & Justin were eliminated but they came a very long way. Like the Globetrotters said Kisha & Jen were consistant the entire race. They were never at the bottom or the top.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 10:31amIt turned out to be a rather exciting finale with the sisters and the Globetrotters so close to each other. I can't imagine biking those last 7 miles into the wind like that. That had to hurt. I was actually quite happy for Kisha and Jen in the end. I always liked Kisha, but I couldn't stand Jen the first time around. She was a lot better this season. I think it's interesting how they didn't win a single leg the entire race, but won in the end. Sucks for Gary and Mallory, though. It appeared they got through the tasks pretty quickly, but that cab driver really screwed them. And the tasks were such that there didn't seem to be much opportunity for anyone to make up a lot of time other than being unlucky with transportation from place to place. I was kind of bummed there wasn't the typical memory task where they had to remember happened in each leg. That was something that really provided opportunities for lagging teams to catch up if they were well-prepared and kept a level head. I think Mallory could have broken through with a challenge like that.

Me too.
How was it fair for those poor hairy boys to do the waxing?! They were such good sports.
Mallory and Dad's cab experience was proof that my husband wouldnt last. He busts a gut if a cab driver takes an avenue he doesnt like.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 11:52amI would totally lose it if I was in a cab where they didn't know where they were going or if I ended up stuck in traffic. Which would probably make for good television.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 12:29pmI liked all of the final 4 too. Mallory is so cute.
#141The Amazing Race Unfinished Business
Posted: 5/9/11 at 12:49pmI'm glad with the outcome. If Zev and Justin couldn't win I'm happy with the sisters. I was glad they didn't have to continue with the waxing on them, though. It was just a bit unfair.

What do you mean? I thought they sat through the entire 15 minutes?
And yeah, the waxing thing was BS. Those boys were hairier than every other person there and those waxers were waxing them in a way that seemed to be designed to make it as painful as possible. In a normal situation, there's no way they'd be waxed like that without having the hair clipped down first.
When Justin and Zev chose the bikini task, I had a feeling that was their doom. Did the producers really think women would be willing to not only buy those tops, but to model them for strange men with a camera crew?
#143The Amazing Race Unfinished Business
Posted: 5/9/11 at 1:25pmIn the end, I was glad the globetrotters didn't win. Not that I didn't like them, but they always seemed to be the beneficiaries of others' mistakes. I know that's part of the game, but they were very fortunate not get eliminated several times before the finale.

Posted: 5/9/11 at 1:34pmPhyllis, I know I wouldn't have bought a bikini and modeled it for them. But then again, I don't wear a bikini anymore....LOL

I liked the Globetrotters - but would not play poker with the Tall one! The only reason the sisters won (who I like) was because Big Easy basically let it slip that there was an earlier flight. Maybe they would have found out on their own, but all I can say is DOH!
If Zev and Justin could not win (love them both!), then I am fine with any of the last three winning. But have to admit, Mallory did annoy be a little bit. Just too darn perky for me!

Something about Big Easy was rubbing me the wrong way last night, and I usually like them both fine. Even with that said, it was nice to watch a finale of a show where I liked everyone pretty much equally.
This season felt really long. I literally did not remember one of the racing couples that were cheering on the finish line - blonde haired women, darked haired guy. No recollection of them whatsoever.

I hold too many grudges...I still distrust the globetrotters for some of the stuff they pulled in their last season...especially badgering that girl about going down the slide into the shark tank.
That said, it wasnt a bad season. The finale with the bikes was good, but like someone said...where was the final quiz challenge? I dont remember a season without that last roadblock.

Totally off topic, but the older sister has the most unfortunate laugh...

"Big Easy basically let it slip that there was an earlier flight."
That also screwed Zev & Justin. If they had been the only two teams on that first flight, then Kisha & Jen and Gary & Mallory would've been battling for the final spot in the final three.
"That said, it wasnt a bad season."
I don't know if I liked this season as much as last season, still it was better than the fall 2009 (season 15) and spring 2010 (season 16) seasons.
