The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business

It reminds me of the most difficult challenge (and ive brought this up before) I've ever seen which was where one person had to eat an entire Chicago deep dish pizza right before going to the finish line.
Actually, each member of the team had to eat two slices of deep-dish pizza. I remember it well because I know the restaurant and my all-time favorite team, Kris and Jon, lost to Freddy and Kendra. Of the eating challenges, that was actually one of the easiest. I remember wen they had to stuff themselves with two pounds of crazy meat (I think that was Argentina), eat an entire scrambled ostrich egg (Charla?!?!), and finish a bowl of super spicy borscht. And then there was all that Dim Sum last season that looked a lot easier than it turned out to be.
I would totally do that Survivor, SOMMS! Though I've a feeling the only way I might win is if I'm not voted out the first week.

And the caviar. The Argentina meat probably was the most notorious eating challenge, as that's the one nearly everyone either puked or gave up entirely and took the penalty, but I think the one last season was the worst. Having people eat piles of sushi that's been sitting at room temperature for several hours could have had some very unfortunate consequences.
Matt, I'll totally make an alliance with ya. :)

I think it was -- because it was in Russia, and I remember those two cranky guys who really hated Charla/Mirna were making nasty comments about Russians. I also remember they made that poor older couple eat the goblet of caviar even though they were way behind in last place and had no chance of avoiding elimination.
Woot! Let's do it. :)

Jamie & Cara believed it was very unfair that Kent and Vyxsin were only given a thirty minute penalty for taking another flight and that the race had a double leg.

Somehow I doubt Jamie and Cara would think it was unfair if they had survived the leg.
That's why it's really such a slap in the face. We all had to take a mandatory flight and they chose to take a different flight and only get the 30-minute penalty, when in reality, that next flight out -- if they had taken that mandatory flight -- was 24 hours later.
So...they wanted the Goths to receive a 24-hour penalty? Or they wanted the Goths to wait 24 hours for the next flight? Taking alternate forms of transportation generally carry a 30-minute penalty and it's not like the Goths shot ahead of other teams by taking the alternate flight. They were still WAY behind everyone else. They had no choice but to take an alternate flight and I sincerely doubt the producers assigned a light penalty because the Goths are keeping the ratings up. I'm so glad these women are gone. Whiners.

Good riddance to Margie and Luke! I'm tired of watching him "cry like a little girl"*.

Posted: 3/28/11 at 1:32pmI did feel sorry for him last night, but the crying was getting pretty annoying.

Posted: 3/28/11 at 2:03pmI'm glad they're gone. I found them both to be insufferable. Clearly this kid cannot handle the pressure required to run the race and his mom is enabling. I tried so hard to like them in this and their last race. I just couldnt muster it.

WEll, they didnt act badly and then blame everyone else for being meanies this time around.
I did think it was cute how the tea dudes all hugged him after he finally got it.
And that challenge made me have to pee. Why did so many of them drink all of tea? They saw the others be very successful smelling the tea first.

Posted: 3/28/11 at 6:30pmI was actually hoping he would be a bit more independant. It seems that during the last race there was something in our gay paper about him moving out of the Springs on his own. (They live in Colorado Springs, not Denver)

Posted: 3/30/11 at 10:28amI will not miss them. Not my favorite team......
#93The Amazing Race Unfinished Business
Posted: 3/30/11 at 5:18pmHonestly, Luke's crying didn't bother me at all. I totally got it. Who knows how many hours he was there watching teams pass them by. The stress, anxiety, frustration and exhaustion kicked in high gear knowing they were sitting there stuck on a needle-in-a-haystack challenge of luck (did anybody really REMEMBER exactly what the tea tasted like?) would probably get to me in the same way. Yeah, I might cry in that situation and I'm not ashamed to say it. I wouldn't cry as much, but that's just because I'm not a big p*ssy crybaby.

I just wanted to scream "Pull up your Big Girl panties and deal with it!"
Seriously.....I question how he will react to a serious stressful issue when one occurs.
I just don't deal well with whiners...

Yahoo does not think this season has been so good. I think it's better than seasons 15 and 16, but I don't know if it's been as good as last season.

Kent & Vyxsin's arguing is starting to get on my nerves. I wouldn't mind them going next. I wasn't disappointed to see Ron go since he had a very bad temper, but I felt a little sorry to see Christina go.

@Stackard, I don't know but can I have some?
Ron was getting a bit annoying with the eating thing. I actually like Christina. Zev is the next one that needs to go. He is so negative. I am liking Flight Time & Big Easy much more this time around and would like to see them win. Either them or the other father daughter team. (Forget their names) I loved her bit about getting rid of the shirt because of what happens every time she wears it.
