Everyone's favorite summer series is back again, hosted by a now-pregnant Julie Chen.
This season will feature some kind of "high school" twist, where the houseguests were chosen based on a certain clique that they fit. Sounds pretty lame to me, but I'm interested to see how they swing it.
Also there will be a mystery houseguest entering the house; possibly someone from Big Brother past.
Anybody else plan on watching?

It's already been done on TVLand.

I'll be watching...but I thought the twist this year was two houses competing against each other...just a rumor, I guess.
Terrible guilty pleasure...time consuming, too!
oooh, doodle I LOVE that idea! I hope you're right! There needs to be some kind of change up this season.
A guilty pleasure for me, too. I have seen every season...should I be admitting that out loud?
I'll be watching. Hope it's good this season. Last season was lame lame lame.

I never watched this show before but I heard it's like Real World?
Correct me if I am wrong.

Youre right --- its a guilty pleasure to watch it but also SO DAMN time-consuming! 3 nights a week? Ugh... I may tune-in here and there (because its summer reality TV at its best).
One of the contestants, Jordan, is totally a Kate Reinders look-alike

Have you seen the teaser clip of Chris (aka Gunther) in the Leather Outfit? You would think (by the way the houseguests reacted) that none of them have ever visited The Eagle!
Well, I hope this is better than last season. Can't wait for my nights to be consumed by it :)
Doodle -- I love that idea! That would be really interesting to watch, and I could imagine a pain in the ass for the editors. Maybe the show will just have to be on 6 times a week.
I haven't thrown myself into a season since BB8, so I have my fingers crossed that we have a good group of houseguests.
I just watched those press clips... I wish they had showed the veto competition. I completely forgot how much I enjoyed watching Jen, no matter how annoying she was.
I loved when Jen ate the turkey burger on slop week.. and she liked the unitard! lol

Big Brother is probably my favorite show on television, no shame whatsoever!
I auditioned to be on the show last year...obviously didn't make the cut. lol Too bad, because the people on there last year frankly were morons! I have high hopes for this season though. Can't wait!
To be clear, I'm a complete BB addict.
I'm getting kind of annoyed at the CONSTANT casting of morons. Why don't the producers realize intelligence is far interesting than idiocy - surely there are enough pretty people with BRAINS to people the show...
Casting young and casting pretty is really sucking a lot of the strategy out of the show... it seems like everyone will "try and use their sexuality to their advantage," which has worked for how many people? (A few, actually)
Shrug, nonetheless, I am way excited for this season. Am even considering getting the feeds if I like the cast enough after the premiere.
And dont forget Hardy (BB2) is on that new Bravo reality show about swingles in Miami!
I jumped the gun and ordered the live feeds already. I can't wait for tonight!
What websites do you guys go on for live feed updates?
I've always used realitynewslive.com, they have people updating 24/7, and have been doing so for as long as I have been watching BB
I'm so glad I checked in here today, because I totally forgot this was starting tonight!
I can stomach a lot of crap, but the people they put on this show are usually too loathsome for even me to stand. I haven't watched since the year of what's-his-face, the spikey-headed guy who made headbands out of his shirts.
Loathsome people make the show worth watching some of the time. I think you talking about Jase (BB5 and BB7), and he was a looooong time ago. You should tune in :)
Yikes, he was on there twice?! I miss the token "old" people (late 40s to early 50s in tvland), like the guy who didn't wash his hands after going to the bathroom or the guy who cried all the time.
And I lied...I remember now that I did watch some of the next year, with the Iraqi guy and some bald firefighter with a Napoleon complex. I only made it to week three or so of that one.
Oh man, the whole Gerry not washing his hands thing was so much drama for the first week in the house. I remember when Lori called him out in front of everyone, then she got booted the first week.
I miss BB3, that was a great season
I love this show -- the women are SMOKING this season -- ALL of them. I have to say, though, I'm partial to Michelle. Brains and beauty...nice :)
I'm predicting Evil Dick is the 13th guest...
