Biden could slam her against the wall with the wolf hunting issue, but apparently they don't feel that is an important national issue. They need to dig deeper into environmental issues to let that one come through.

She is taking FULL advantage of the power of repetition and simplification.

I'm impressed with the performance, not the arguments.

And most of her base is looking for a PERFORMANCE not an argument.

She is doing EXACTLY what McCain hoped she would do.

I'm not a fan of Biden's overemphatic style (he sometimes seems to be talkiing down to the audience) but come on, Palin's a disaster. Her folksy "wisdom" ("Joe Sixpack", "hockey moms") is all right for Republican rallies, but not for swing votes. She's all bumper stickers and tired old sound bites and generalizations. She sounds like an earnest but not terribly talented graduate student. When she does go into detail (rarely) it's usually distorted, the way almost all of McCain's increasingly desperate ads have been.
