Palin's getting stronger and more comfortable as the night goes on.

Biden's getting stuffier and stodgier.

Neither have really said substance off script.

I think it's disturbing to see so many posts that think she's holding her own in this debate. It is clear that she doesn't have anything substantive to say. Not only is Biden answering the questions with facts and evidence to support his claims, but Palin's soundbite non-answers are allowing him to educate the viewing public about the falsity of her accusations against him and Obama and gives him even more opportunity to educate the audience and show how much she doesn't know.

Her down-home, aw-shucks demeanor isn't going to win anyone who isn't already in her corner; but his arrogance might lose a couple.

Um Joe Biden's son was badly injured in a car crash that killed his daughter and first wife.

I think anyone would choke up and nearly cry at recalling that moment.
