So I've now dug this thread up to celebrate my amazing night tonight.
I finally met Brian.
First off, Inishmore was brilliant and I loved every minute of it.
After the challenge of actually finding the stagedoor.. I got there.. and not even 3 minutes later, there he was, walking towards me. Thankfully I didn't flip out and leave like I have in the past. He saw me pulling out my Wild Party vocal selections book, and said 'Ooh, Wild Party..' I said 'Yeah... could you please sign this for me?' He, of course, said he would. I was literally shaking uncontrollably at this point. I said 'I just am such a huge fan... I think you're absolutely amazing.' He asked me if I liked the show, and I said yes. And then I said 'I'm.. okay I can't stop shaking!' He was like 'No no its okay, what's your name?' I told him my name and spelled it out and told him I'd been waiting so long to meet him. I had him sign the music for What Is it About Her. It said 'To Kerrie - Many Thanks'. We took a picture.. and I managed to not faint. I did, however, burst into tears as soon as I left.
It was overwealming. To meet someone I've been a fan of for so long and just admire so much. And he really couldn't have been nicer, especially considering I was a nervous, shaking wreck.
This is easily one of the best nights. No doubt about it.
