Sorry to barge into the thread, but has anyone else heard his rendition of "Pity the Child" from a 1998 Chess concert? He did quite a nice job with the difficult song, other than going off-key a bit toward the end. He added some screams at the end of the song which I thought were kind of an interesting albeit very different touch.

After hearing about seven different Chess casts, I think Brian and Adam were the only two performers to truly perform the role well (granted, I'm horribly biased regarding the latter). It seems as if nearly every true Chess production is cursed with a mediocre Freddie. I'd love to hear Brian's Anatoly sometime.

WesternSky, the quality of my recording isn't great either, although I assume it's the only one circulating. I think it's recording where someone coughs almost all the way through it, too.
