Posted: 6/25/04 at 5:26pmGreat thread,'yall! Miss Walli is a cutie, indeed. I, myself, am the proud parent of a 6 year old Golden Retriever, Bailey. She is a real smartie, too, and loves taking me for a walk in the evening! Perhaps one day, she will be on Broadway like Miss Walli or at least take over as my icon, but for right now Charlie, the hyper Welsh Terrier is it. As you may know, Charlie, like our dear friend Idina is rarely sick and Bailey will have to understudy for the role of junglered Icon awhile longer.

no Dame, Woo lives with us here at our lovely rental in Amagansett, which is a subtler way of saying in The Hamptons
we used to frolic near you, every summer, in Laguna Beach
Walli went to Fire island once...unfortunately, she has a problem with loud booming noises, so just the ferry over put her into a panic attack that made Elizabeth Taylor in "Suddenly last Summer" look subtle...once there, the thunderstorms we encountered proceeded to push her completely over the edge, straight into "The Snake Pit" territory
so...Woo will NOT be returning to Fire Island

I ( believe it or not) have never been to Fire island either. However I jaunt over to Laguna almost twice each summer. Usually around July 4th cause my birthday is July 6. This year since I am turning 40 theres a whole group of us going for the week and we are staying right near the Boom Boom room. Did you use to have one of those beautiful houses right on the beach?
