I don't believe that slugs are "better" or "worse" than any of the earth's creatures.

Hi sweetie! I'm jealous. I really want to see this show. Greg said that they did some major rewrites for the tour. He said there was a whole new number for the opening and we wouldn't even recognize it. I'm so curious and now I have to go to Baltimore to see it. It just's not fair!

I am hoping I get paid for my Annie gig so I can get tix & see Norbie. Not sure how I feel about the rewriting the tour, though. Did he say it was for the best?

Yes - he seemed really excited about it. You know they were never really happy with the opening number. It changed from the San Diego previews and did get better - but they knew more could be done.

I had a chance to talk to both Greg and Donny Oberpriller - the automation czar who runs the movement of the turntable and sets during the show. They said that a lot of these changes were mandated by the fact that the big turntable used at the Imperial could never be installed into various stages across the country. I think Greg said that the one initially installed in San Diego was so heavy that it caused part of the stage to collapse! So changes had to be made. He thought they were going to be pretty good too.

DD - did you know that Greg was auctioning off the things in his dressing room? All the proceeds are going to BC/EFA. He started on Wednesday and he'll finish up tomorrow (Saturday) during the matinee and evening cam sessions.

I love the Benedum Center in Pittsburgh. Maybe we'll do a family weekend, take in the Andy Warhol Museum, see DRS and have dinner at my all-time favorite Pittsburgh restaurant.

DD, I have only been to Seattle once, and it was pure business (a meeting with Microsoft...I bet you're real surprised!)

I would love to visit again for fun!

But it looks as though you'll be here way before I get there. At least you're coming during the holidays. It's always pretty on the East Coast at that time.
