Since everyone is making fun of me for letting my spelling get the best of me, I have decided to unleash yet another glorious photograph just to rub it in and get back at all of you because I am a malicious and vindictive person at heart. That is, if I actually have one.

My brain has not been functioning well for the past few days. I do not respond well to extreme heat. I can't remember simple things. It makes speaking French very difficult because I can't recall words in English let alone those in another language. My only saving grace is that my French friends are having the same problems, so I don't feel like a complete moron.

We are leaving for the South of France tomorrow because the Tour de France is coming through on Sunday and they are closing roads off. Yay! I can't wait to get there!

My son got hold of my camera for a while today when I was unaware. Here is a photo he took. Isn't France lovely?

I'm a little surprised, and somewhat saddened, by the obvious ugliness that has developed. Not sure what prompted it all, but the effect is damaging and hurtful.

One must always be careful about passing judgement without knowing all the facts.* In fact, one shouldn't be passing judgement at all.

*And the fact is, around these parts, it is virtually impossible to know all the facts.

Ms. P, I am melting as well. I don't deal with heat well at all either, and it's been HOT in Seattle for 4 days now. I've been averaging 3 hours of sleep at night, it's so warm.
