Anyone else mad about some snubs? I was really pulling for Lauren Graham getting a nod, she definitely deserved it. One thing I was happy to see, however, was Hank Azaria being nominated.
No Nip/Tuck..no Michael C. Hall...a travesty..
Hooray for Scrubs, Lost, and the best thing on TV Arrested Development!
Emmy Nominations
I'm shocked Michael C. Hall wasn't nominated...Though, I'm thrilled for Scrubs and Arrested Development. Sorry Graham got snubbed, Elphie...I never really watch Gilmour Girls, but I know you were rooting for her. Out of the nominees for Lead Actress in a Comedy, I'm pulling for Felicity Huffman, though I'm sure Hatcher will end up taking it. Whatever.
In a perfect world, Braff and Huffman would win.
I agree...or Jason Bateman for Arrested Development. I've recently discovered how much I love this show!
A belated hooray for Philip Seymour Hoffman for BSActor in a mini series for Empire Falls!!
And what's up w/ Conchata Ferrell for BSActress in a Comedy for "Two And A Half Men"?? I haven't watched it that much, but (while she's rather funny) she's hardly ever on...maybe half the episodes I've seen. Hmmm...

Despite wins in writing, directing, acting & animation, The Simpsons, the best sitcom in TV history, has never been nominated for best sitcom.
How could you ever take the Emmys seriously knowing that?
In a perfect world, Braff and Huffman would win.
In my perfect world, Bateman and Cross would win.
Well, that's the deal w/ most awards shows, isn't it. The Simpsons won an Emmy(s) for acting? I din't know that. Huh. I don't really take them seriously, though it is nice when a derserving performance, show, etc. is recognized (even just with a nomination).
Yay for Kiefer Sutherland and "24", but I know neither will win. The Emmys tend to go for the dinosaurs like "Will and Grace", "Everybody Loves Raymond", and "West Wing". Although, now that "24" has had 4 seasons, maybe they'll start to recognize it.
You never know...they did give Arrested Development Best Comedy last year. I'd be happy if, on the old dinosaur front, Peter Boyle won though. That's about it though. I haven't watched Will and Grace since Harry Connick Jr joined the cast a couple of years ago, but it seemed like it was going downhill.
How great is it that Jessica Walter was nominated for Arrested Development (almost makes up for my disappointment that Lauren Graham was once again snubbed...almost)!
I'm thrilled that "Scrubs" is finally getting some recognition, but was anyone else suprised by FIFTEEN nominations for Will & Grace? Megan Mullally's genius, but that show has been coasting for years now.
Can somebody post the supporting categories? I slept through the nominations and I can't find them anywhere.

Thanks so much. Glad to see CCH Pounder and Jessica Walter have *finally* been recognized.
I just haven't been into many shows this season. I used to be extremely loyal to West Wing and Alias but WW went downhill and I missed half b/c of living outside of the country and I missed ALL of Alias because it started in Jan.
I do however have love for Desperate Housewives (A big thanks to the UK for starting it the week I moved)--and the DHW chocolate parties we had weekly.
If anyone from that show gets an emmy it better be Marcia Cross! I am not a Hatcher fan!
MEF, I agree about Walter & CCH Pounder...also glad to see Terry O'Quinn nominated.
Did Allison Janney not submit her name for consideration this year, or was she just not nominated? I don't watch The West Wing, but I was a little suprised to see she wasn't on the list (she's won four Emmys in the last five years for that role).
I LOVE the Emmy Committee for giving three...COUNT 'EM, THREE...Emmy nominations to Blythe Danner.
Was it Pauline Kael who claimed Blythe Danner was being robbed of roles by Meryl Streep?
Blythe Danner is brilliant. Remember when she was Blythe Danner, and not Gwyneth's mother? Those were the days.
And go Holland Taylor! woohoo!!
Blythe Danner is brilliant. Remember when she was Blythe Danner, and not Gwyneth's mother? Those were the days.
Are you trying to tell me she had a career and a life before giving birth to Gwyneth? I won't believe it.
Most people don't realize she had a career before Gwyneth won an Oscar.
How sad is that??...Oh wait, I'm probably in that category, aren't I?...Yeah, I am. For shame!
Anyone figure out the 15 noms for "Will & Grace"? The show jumped the shark years ago, and is pretty unwatchable now. I tried a few times this season, but it has become so broad and just not funny. I love the actors, but what are they acting???
I am sooooo rooting for Marcia Cross for Comedy Leading Actress !!!! She is fabulous in Desperate Housewives !!!
Housewives are going to win a lot this year.
Hatcher, or Cross for Best Comedy Actress.
I'm also pulling for Mariska for Best Drama Actress.
