I thought i'd bring this back... ha!

just saw Human Centipede 2 today on Netflix.... yikes... that is one sick and disturbing movie... maybe somebody who has seen this has seen more disturbing stuff... but i have never sat completely grossed out and disgusted during a movie... and I've seen 2 girls one cup!!!

the lead guy not only has a creepy look but was sadly pathetic yet just twisted... that scene with the baby had me in shock... and the laxative sequence... ugh...

and yet I will watch part 3 when it comes out!

But you, like many others, DID sit through it in its entirety. That's why the movie was made and has two sequels.

Jordan, that's smart. The second one is terrible. It's the director trolling the critics who immediately dismissed the first film because of the premise. "Oh, you think that's disturbing? I'll show you disturbing. Hit that pregnant woman HARDER with the crowbar, you bald mute egg-shaped troll."

The worst part is that the black and white cinematography is gorgeous. It's just focused on really terrible images.

I'm a masochistic horror completest with OCD. I will wind up seeing the third film and hating myself for it.

Ill watch anything scary but these aren't scary, just gross. And no matter how the studios try to market them, gore does not equal horror. That's why I'm looking forward to THE PURGE as much as I am. It reminds me of THE STRANGERS (my absolute favorite horror film in the past 10 years) so if its even half as good as that, I'll be happy.

JohnAdams.... uh the point of my post wasn't to question why I sat through the movie or why anyone would watch it or make it... to clarify... this is the most disturbing/disgusting movie that I have ever saw... so if anyone out there has seen this movie, maybe they can tell me if there is a movie even more disturbing/disgusting that they have seen...

The Strangers.... damn that movie made me NEVER want to be home alone again EVER... nor did it make me want to visit friends who live far away in secluded areas!

i don't equate gore as scary or horror... i think i just kind of lump them all together sometimes... just laziness i guess... but i like gore

did anyone see Aftershock? i thought that was a pretty good movie... damn earthquakes! and it's probably the first time i truly ever enjoyed Eli Roth in a movie

eatlasagne... reading your posts sounds like you need to experience "Blackout NYC"

It is probably as close to living a scary movie as possible - not the dracula/werewolf Halloween type but the actual victimization type without ghosts or goblins.
You must walk through alone!

I laughed all the way through HC2. Its sheer depravity and the lengths to which it went were so far over the top that I couldn't construe it as anything but a comedy.

I've seen a lot of equally sick movies (the sub-genre of German splatter picks can't even be described).

Having said that, HC2 is certainly no better than those films. It's pretty extreme. But I found it had a distinct sense of humor similar to the new breed of Japanese "grindhouse" films such as Robo Geisha and Tokyo Gore Police.

You want disturbing? Check out Irreversible by Gaspar Noe. It's not classified as a horror movie but I've yet to see anything as deeply upsetting as the infamous subway scene.

Brian07663NJ... i've heard of blackout nyc and i will refuse to do stuff like that! i love watching horror and being scared but i don't enjoy being a part of it! my friends had me go with them to Knotts Scary Farm and I "hated" every second of it... i think i screamed the whole time while my friends were laughing at me! haha... they try to get me to go to the Universal Studios mazes but I just won't go! and the funny thing is my friend is also the exact opposite of me.. he goes to these things but refuses to watch scary movies!

I really like The Strangers and I'm also looking forward to The Purge. I never find people that got into The Strangers that much. It's just so menacing in the best way possible. The Descent has the same kind of vibe with the monster angle. Pontypool is even more claustrophobic with a zombie angle.

I just watched the first one on HULU two days ago. I liked it! Gross? YES! Stupid? YES! Bad acting? Par for the course. Much more enjoyable to the afore mentioned The Serbian Movie which I really felt like I had to shower after seeing.

I've seen THC twice and both times, my hands felt shaky and it took me a few hours to recover. Same with PINK FLAMINGOS. Yikes.

I read a full synopsis of The Serbian Movie and wished afterward that I had not even done that.

So I do have my limits.

Anyway my optimist side is saying: "Eric Roberts...set in prison...500 people in the chain...finally! Some Human Centipede cl(ass)!"
