Congratulotions Glebby!!! I saw the Joffrey many years ago in DC... Nutracker at the KC.

Now if they would put Seattle in their itinerary...

Thanks again for all of the congratulations!
Tuesday was so popular many lined up outside the Harris Theatre and not everyone could be accommodated. I hope they come back tonight. Last night was beautiful at the Pritzker (Gehry) theatre. We only performed "L'Apres Midi D'Un Faune" but the Grant Park Orchestra was gorgeous in Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky. (I'm dying to see Cheno in concert at the Pritzker).
Tonight it's back to the Harris with Joffrey rep. Noel Mason one of the early Taglionis will be here. I'm a bit nervous. I hope she likes my staging (from the last video of Mr. Joffrey rehearsing Pas Des Deesses in 1984.) Trinette Singleton will be here too. She was the first ballet dancer to grace the cover of TIME Magazine (in Mr. Joffrey's legendary ASTARTE.)
Saturday night is the big gala. I'm sitting at a table with Helgi Thompson, former Joffrey and New York City Ballet dancer and current Artistic Director of San Francisco Ballet.

Event at The Cultural Center was great last night and the performance was electric.
By late this afternoon the over one hundred alumni will be here and the real fun begins!

Hi Ladies and Gents:
I'm already at the studio because I'm teaching class today and a lot of people will be here to watch.
There is also a big photo session after class.
It was so hot yesterday and I had a suit on, yuk!
Today will be hotter yet and tonight is tux.
There was a pre-performance cocktail greet yesterday and wow it was so much fun. Great to see long lost friends. After the performance there was a party at the Palmer House. It was so much fun taking today's dancers around, especially Calvin, to meet former Joffrey dancers. It got teary when a memorial video of our lost friends was shown. Christian Holder and Helgi T. also spoke.
Tonight huge party in tent in Millennium Park after performance.
Tomorrow farewell brunch at Palmer House.
