Well, the Joffrey staff managed to will it not to rain.
There were a few sprinkles early on but they subsided and the show was done in full.
The party in a lavish tent on the south end of Millenium Park was enjoyed by all. I left by 12:30am to walk Sally Bliss, the former director of Joffrey II to her hotel and it seemd like the dancing was only just beginning, so I can't imagine what time the party was over.
At the end of the program there was a full company bow on stage and after the front line which included Mr. Arpino and the entire Artistic Staff was clearing, I sneaked the the stage right apron of the stage and took four pictures of the dancers bowing on the Pritzker stage. I'm not good at posting pictures but I'll see what I can do.
Now I must get ready for the brunch at the Palmer House.
