i watched mad tv this week and marvelled at how much funnier it was than snl. even mrs mambo was laughing out loud!
They are all fabulous comediennes. Where is the black girl who does Oprah (as well as so many other characters). I haven't seen her lately and I loved her. In my opinion they blow SNL away totally as far as making me laugh.
LOVE THEM....Miss Swan is amazing (Did you know alex Borstein who plays her was in Coyote Ugly?)Miss Nicole Sullivan though...her and Debrah as Maleena and Leeda were just the best![]()
All the ladies of that show are fabulous. Thirdrowcenter, Debra Wilson left to do films. She's actually been in a few really serious movies including AMERICAN HISTORY X.
My favorite person on that show now is Stephanie Weir. I would watch her read the phone book and crack up. And is it just me or when she's blonde, does she resemble Chenoweth??? I've thought that for years now!
Stephanie Weir could be this generation's Madeline Kahn if she plays her cards right. They must not pay their performers a whole lot....the brilliant Mo Collins is leaving at the end of this season and the unbelievably brilliant African American actress who would do Oprah and Whitney Houston also left. HUGE crush on Michael McDonald here!!
It's a shame Mo Collins is leaving the show. It will really be Weir's show next season with her gone. I do hope she plays her cards right as Borstalboy said because she could have a very long career ahead of her. And I've got my fingers crossed that she does.
I think the show peaked when Nicole S, Debra W and Will S were still on. And I def agree w/ whoever said it's now better than SNL. (I wouldn't have even watched this past week's SNL - luckily I watched most of it since it was Jimmy Fallon's last ep!). Which one is Mo Collins? Is that "Stuart"'s mom?
Yep, that's her.
well, heck, nicole s. went on and made a niche for herself on sitcoms making probably two or three times as much for less than a quarter of the work. i have such a crush on her. big, big, huge one. like my crush on victoria jackson circa 1987 only more so. well okay then.
