My incredulity at the final nominee almost -- ALMOST -- offsets my elation for "Tree of Life." I don't care if it wins a single thing. I'm just so happy it's been nominated.

As for the rest... well... I guess, yeah. Looking at it objectively, it *looks* like a disappointing list. It's been a better year for movies than is being represented by this group, it seems.

Interesting ... only two songs are up for Best Song:
