I just saw the episode. I am also happy that ray and deana got kicked off. Now rob and amber, i can't stand. Also even though i don't mind merideth and his wife, i think they need to go. I don't want to see them get hurt.

so sad to see the brothers go, but gratuitous shirtless scenes were verrrry nice. the african animals are awesome, but i'm a little sick of the middle-of-nowhere tasks. i like the big city things! this episode was kind of boring...nothing else to say...

It was not a thrilling episode. I was SO sad to see the brothers go. They were such great guys. Meredith and Gretchen will probably be next to go because they just make too many mistakes. There has only been one non-elimination leg. If they have three, then they should all feel pretty safe about making it through the next leg as it would have to be non-elimination as well. Unless someone really screws up, looks like Meredith and Gretchen will be begging for money again.

i am now only watching this show to see lynn and alex kick rob and amber out of the race. otherwise, nothing matters now that the brothers are gone!!! sniff.

I just saw last weeks episode. I am sad that the brothers got eliminated. I really wanted the elder couple to go or ron and kelly. I think that the second's bickering will just get worse.

I guess I'll post something since no one else has. It was a pretty uneventful week with Amber and Rob dominating. Not as exciting without the Brothers, because the other teams don't make any mistakes. (Except Ron and Kelly, for not yielding Rob and Amber.)

i agree. BOOOOOORING! i just loved rob's cocky smile as he walked onto the mat and then how stupid he must have felt when he was told that there was more to the leg and that they weren't first yet. i can't stand him.

ooh, tonight's episode was intense! everyone was pretty much neck and neck. i'm so sad lynn and alex left

gretchen and meredith are awful and i really hope they go next. of course, rob and amber and ron and kelly are pretty awful too. i have so much more respect for joyce after shaving her head. i think she looks GORGEOUS minus those godawful dyed cornrows. very heather headley. and it was rather amusing that uchenna didn't have to shave his head...i feel like if they had had to wait for 2 shavings, they wouldn't have actually come in first! but maybe that's just because they got lost. anyways. there are only 2 more episodes...actually, maybe 3 because i think there are 2 more non-eliminations. i won't miss this season, that's for sure. i'm looking forward to the families on season 8!

etheb...i totally agree with EVERYTHING. joyce was so brave and i admire her so much for just getting out there and shaving her head. i don't think i would have been able to do it. uchenna was right though, she really was gorgeous!!!

i am so sad to see lynn and alex leave. i mean what? WHAT? they were so strong for so long and it all boiled down to going to the wrong palace. grrrr. a part of me is happy for meredith and gretchen (who ended up spending the entire detour screaming from the top of an elephant...excuse me?) but that other part of me thinks they're a waste of a team.

i know the finale is may 10, so i'm thinking there are 3 more episodes...and i can't wait for the families! it should be a lot more exciting than this season.

I'm going to watch Romber's wedding. I don't agree with it being televised, really, but I do like them a lot. They're great racers, physically and mentally tough, and very supportive of one another. It's weird, b/c as much exposure as they've gotten, what they have seems very real. Good luck to them.

Gretchen and Meredith (esp Gretchen) are a bit annoying, but I am thrilled that they beat the boyfriends. Lynn and Alex may have been entertaing at times, but their constant complaining about Romber and self-righteous attitudes got on my nerves.

Lynn and Alex were incredibly supportive of each other and that is the biggest reason why I wanted them to stay. I never found them to have even the tiniest fraction of the self-righteous attitude of Rob and Amber. Notice how yet another team that gets in first gets no prize, yet Rob and Amber get prizes every time they come in first? It makes me want to puke. I'm not watching their wedding because I have no idea why anyone outside of their family and friends would care. Even though Joyce suspected the head shaving from the beginning, I admired her determination when they arrived to go through with it. It's hair. It'll grow back. And I thought she looked absolutely radiant without the hair. And she seemed more liberated and confident afterwards as well. I would love to see them win, but I'm afraid they just make too many mistakes. Especially when it comes to direction, which is always crucial in the end.

Lynn and Alex are supportive of each other. I could appreciate that. Rob and Amber aren't perfect by any means, and they are overly competitive. Not stopping when the brothers had their accident is a great example of that. But I thought Lynn's bragging over their act of good will was even worse. And it annoys me to hear that Lynn and Alex were calling Amber names (and implying she was anorexic)...when Rob wasn't around.

Joyce looked gorgeous without her hair.

I think the editors made it a lot closer than it was. We'll see next episode how far apart they really were, but I suspect it was at least 30 mins. Lynn and Alex were nice to each other, which was nice, but they were a bit to mean to Rob and Amber.

What is it with the prizes??? A woman shaved her head and didn't get anything, yet walking over a big hole gets you two cars?

When did they announce the Rob and Amber wedding? I hadn't heard about it.

wow i loved tonight's episode! **SPOILERS** uchenna and joyce just make me smile and i'm hoping that they got a huge lead over the other teams...even though they only started like 2 minutes ahead of rob/amber/ron/kelly.

and i'm happy to be the first to say that rob has been making such an ass of himself this whole time, i love how it has finally paid off. "did you get the earlier flight?" you bastard!!! mwahahaha!

what I find REALLY funny, is Rob and Amber are where they are tonight, because of HIS BIG MOUTH...........had he said nothing about an "earlier" flight.......they'd have been in first........

That was HILARIOUS! Rob really put his foot in it. Not only did he look like an ass for saying how "stupid" they were, he hands them a 2-hour lead, AND doesn't bother to check on an earlier flight himself. That was PRICELESS!

I really want to see Uchenna and Joyce win. They are fantastic! Miss Bitchiana has no idea how much people are going to hate her for that POW comment. Did she forget this is television? I would have dumped her in that moment.

I agree Matt, I agree with all you've said.....if U and J don't win, I'd be ok with the older couple winning. I mean her climbing that rope ladder was priceless......they just keep amazing me.

That POW comment was totally out of line. And she is really embarrassing the pageant industry......by her idiocy.

I just do NOT want Rod and Amber to win......

even though they were kicked off, i truly believe that meredith and gretchen are the true winners of the amazing race. i mean, if you go back and think of everything they have been through, they are so so SO inspiring!!!

and it should be outlawed to bring around locals while racing. i'm not just saying it b/c i hate rob and amber, but seriously. we all know that they couldn't have done it all themselves...

im just tired of rob and amber winning all the legs where they get a prize at the end. and then on the 24th of may their wedding is being televised on CBS, who cares about them anymore. CBS has done enough for that couple, let other couples get a share on the prizes and special treatment. I hope this is the only season of TAR that we have any "famous" people playing its not fair to the other racers when you get help in every single country you visit. for all I know they have a police escort next week. hopefully im wrong and they come in 3rd place.

need to defrag my brain.
