The Official AMAZING RACE 7 Thread - Updated Weekly

BRIAN & GREG (brothers)
DEBBIE & BIANCA (lifelong friends)
LYNN & ALEX (boyfriends)
MEGAN & HEIDI (roommates)
MEREDITH & GRETCHEN (retired couple)
RAY & DEANA (dating on and off)
ROB & AMBER (engaged)
RON & KELLY (dating)
RYAN & CHUCK (best friends)
SUSAN & PATRICK (mother & son)
UCHENNYA & JOYCE (married)

WHY do Rob & Amber (SURVIVOR) get to participate in this race? Why should they be the only team allowed on because of their B-celebrity status? Which new reality team got shut out because these two took their place? Unfair. They have a $1million already. Let them go into bankruptcy already.

With that said - I can't wait to watch them, and see if they really love each other. I can't believe that they would fall in love knowing each other on a reality TV show island for less than 40 days.

Rob proposed to Amber during the Season Finale Reunion. Amber won the $1 million.

While I agree with you Capn that we will have the chance to love or love to hate one less new team in three weeks because of Rob and Amber, they are proven reality show personalities and are sure to draw some Survivor fans to Tuesday nights.

Unfortunately for Rob, AR involves a lot less lieing and backstabbing than Survivor. Unfortunately for Amber, she won't be able to simply ride Rob's coattails into the final three. She will actually have to earn her way there this time!

did anybody see that guy do a flip during the preview for the next season??? i hope it's good and the finale is not as disappointing as that of season six!!! whoah, i got fancy shmancy grammar going on there.

I'm pumped about Rob and Amber.

Even though they got onto the show as celebrities, they are on a completely even field of competition.

It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

I barely tuned in to TAR6, but am anxiously awaiting Rob and Amber in the race!

I don't think they should participate. She won a million on another show. That spot should go to someone who hasn't had the chance. Amazing Race is taking a very sleazy route with this. It used to be the most admirable of all the reality challenge shows, but now it's willing to play dirty for ratings. I hope Rob and Amber get bumped off immediately. Their participation in this pisses me off.

To be fair to Rob and Amber, they aren't the first transfers from another show to appear on TAR. Remember Donny and Allison?

I didn't get to say it earlier but why did Kendra and freddy have to win??????????? Damn train!! Anywho, why does that annoying couple from surviver have to be on thes show? it was bad when that couple from big brother was on!!! now teams of four? that would be cool.

Can't wait!

I DO wish they would do a bit more in the U.S. There's Mount Rushmore, bunch of stuff in New York and Las Vegas and Chicago; the grand canyon, needle in seattle, washington dc, etc.

I wouldn't want a full USA one, though. I like the foreign countries.

I loved it. Never watched an entire episode in my life. I dig all the men with women's names. Meredith and Lynn. And of course, Rob and Amber, although I know that strikes at MisterMatt's sense of justice in the world. But it got ME to tune in.

Ron and Amber....ugh, I want them out, FAST! I really like the idea of the Mom and gay son.....I hope they are cool.

i found it no more or less boring than anything else. the first episodes are always SO confusing because there are tons of teams and you don't know any of them.

i already HATE rob and amber. besides the fact that they were on survivor and don't need another $1 million, they were annoying as hell and rob is STUPID. the only reason they did so well is because that guy recognized them from survivor and was willing to help them for an entire day. losers.

my faves so far are bianca and debbie and susan and patrick. yes, they are the top 2 but i actually picked them at the very beginning. i just have mad team picking skillz.

really happy the hillbillies got eliminated (i don't want to be regionist but i'm sorry, their accents drove me nuts!). but they were crying at the end and i was like, aw!

bring on the new season! woohoo!
