Just got off the phone with Our Beloved. Some of you may remember that several months ago, his cousin suddenly--and without warning--passed away at the age of 38. It turned out that she had a rare blood disorder that no one knew anything about. She basically had a stomach ache that was so painful she went to the ER. She died right there.
Norn and I just discussed how this whole event may have been caused by the same disorder. So, in a way, it's better that this happened because it probably saved his life.
Of course, this is "positive" and "optimistic" spin on a situation that is really scary.
Keep praying (whatever your version/definition of that is!) and posting. Your messages give Norn strength and hope.

Have a speedy recover so you can get back on your feet!

I hope that you feel better soon, Norn!
However, I have one question. WHO IS NORN? And why does miss pennywise talk about her family members as if people on BWW know who they are?

Well, that's two questions, actually...
Answer 1) Norn Cutson. Do a "search" on BWW and Google around.
Answer 2) Because many of us know who they are.

Because people like to socialize in person?

Is there any particular reason why many people on BWW know the names of Miss Pennywise's family members?

Why would people on BWW socialize with the family members of a BWW poster. I can (sort of) understand why they would want to with another poster, but I find it strange that people on BWW KNOW her family members, as if they were friends with them. Or maybe they don't and miss pennywise is talking about them as if people should know them.

Ok, I understand that this is a health update thread, but no one has answered my question. Okay, I don't know of anyone on BWW who talks about their family members as if people should know who they are. I love everyone on here, but I don't know any of your family members, and you don't know mine. This is just a message board. Why are we talking about all of our families? It's okay to talk about something that you did together, once in a while, but I don't say,
"Went to Stacy and Brian's wedding on Sunday. Saw my grandmother's cousin Bertha, who looked great for 91. I also met all of Brian's family. They seem very nice, but a bit too take-over, and I don't think that Stacy is into that, but I doubt that she'd be submissive to him, because she's very high-strung and intense".
I don't do that, because no one here knows who my cousin Stacy is, or that she got married, or ANY OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS, because this is a Broadway forum, where we discuss Broadway things. The off-topic board is for, well, off-topic things, but why do you talk about Miss Pennywise's family members, as if they are your own family members. Can someone PLEASE PM me about this, as I am dying to know. Don't you find it a bit odd that someone talks about their family members, as if everyone knows who they are? I do.

I'm confused....is this a problem caused bu the surgery????
It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story...

Get well soon Norn! I hope everything continues to go well.
