re: The Official 'Our Beloved Norn' Update Thread - June 25, 2008

Musicaltheatrepuppetdouche, shut the **** up. Believe it or not, the people have actual relationships with one another outside of BWW. I really can't decide if you're on the level or not - are you some bitchy former or current poster on a sock puppetry reign of epic proportions, or are you really a sad and pathetic little teenager, who "feels so good" spending your time trolling the internet for copyright violators and posting inane post and thread after inane post and thread?

Nothing I've said in here is untrue or worthy of deletion, no matter what you say when you tattle.

Leave norn and miss pennywise alone. Go start a thread about which is the preferred tampon of the cast of Hairspray and leave the actual human beings on this board alone.

Musicaltheatrepuppetdouche, I'm gonna say it again. I'm also gonna point out the Norn does work for BWW, so while the mods may disapprove of my antics sometimes, I think it's pretty clear that they protect their own.

I think Norn would appreciate this, because it will take his mind off his worries, so let's begin. Is Musicaltheatrepuppetdouche a sock puppet or not?

Musicaltheatrepuppetdouche has a LOT of obscure performers (and just a LOT of performers period) for a sock puppet. Even I wouldn't take that much time when crafting a sock puppet, and I'm no slouch in the crazy department.

My vote is that he really is a really messed up teenager who should leave the boards and work on his self-esteem.

Thoughts?

Although I as well am quite impressed with the remarkable "background" on the poster, I'm convinced that after reading something like this it just seals the deal:

"Miss pennywise, can you please send me a DETAILED PM on why this is the case. Or maybe we could arrange to chat with each other."

In addition, the amount of posts can't be coincidental, it just doesn't add up to anything other than intentional fakery.

And for those of you who aren't as douchey as me, let's talk about this freaking picture. It never fails to put a smile on my face. I have a print of it that I still need to get framed.

I really think norn can draw just about anything. If go to his site (nornsisland.com) you'll be amazed at the range of his work. The one thing they all have in common is the freakin' joy that just jumps out of them.

re: The Official 'Our Beloved Norn' Update Thread - June 25, 2008

Okay, I understand that this "Norn" is apparently a big deal (although I think it's inappropriate to talk about your family's personal, private matters on the internet, with people who are not in your family or major circle of friends), but then she (miss pennywise), starts talking about some cousin of hers like everyone knows who he is. Did you see me talk about when my grandfather died? Or when my great-aunt got sick at the hospital and died in a couple hours? NO! Those are personal matters. Sure, I was upset, but do I need to broadcast it to the world? Miss pennywise, I have a question for you. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? Why do you talk about your family like EVERYONE in the world is supposed to know who they are? I am getting sick of it! And can you please go 1 month without making up a story about something that your "6 year old" said about "In the Heights" or another show that they have never seen? I don't know if you've realized it yet, but you're family represents less than 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the world's population. Why do people on BWW talk about Miss Pennywise's family like they are her family. THIS IS A MESSAGE BOARD, NOT YOUR FAMILY'S WBSITE! I am sorry that Norn was in the hospital, but that's kind of his and your own business. If you want to tell people that you know very well (and I mean, very very well, like your family members), there actually are websites that your family can join, and guess what? You can type up things, and they will see it. Kind of like this. OMG!

Try www.myfamily.com, or any family tree website (Geni.com is good, they allow you to make newsletters for your family).

Have an fantastic day!

Good Phyllis is back. Omg, I am so Lucy and Jessie!

This picture is so dreamy it makes me swoon. Sometimes I like to listen to the obc Follies soundboard recording and imagine what an animated version with norn's touch would look like. It's pretty much what I hope heaven would be like.

re: The Official 'Our Beloved Norn' Update Thread - June 25, 2008

you see the main point here mtf3 is that we all love miss p (and many others) and care about their family the way friends do.

But no one here can stand you, so of course we don't care about your cousin (or aunt, or whatever it was you just made up).
....but the world goes 'round

Actually, my great aunt did die this March, and it was a difficult time for me, but you didn't see me postin' about it.

My cousin got married on Sunday, and I didn't post about it (until now, when I used it as an example of inappropriate message board behavior).

Have you even met her personally? Do you know her family members by name?

Here comes faded, jaded, Jessie Y y'all!

I love a good, pointed sock puppet. I take glee in watching people get the piss taken out of them. I LOVE the ones where someone switches a letter in a screen name and copies their avatar, etc to a T. It's totally sociopathic (both those that do it and those like me who always laugh so hard at them), but whatever. Most people on this board, myself included, deserve to be taken down a peg or two once in a while. But even the bitchiest of us see the lines that shouldn't crossed, blurry or morally relative as that may be.

That said, much as so many of the people on this board provoke my ugly side, there's just no one as rotten as Douchey Doucherson.

And regardless of what gets deleted in this thread (and I fully expect to so see some my stuff gone, so save it if you're a fan), but this thread should remain. If you know who causes it to be deleted I hope the posters on this board who still get something out of it revolt.

I'll agree this thread should remain. It's filled with too many lovely messages to be deleted because some idiot sock puppet with nothing better to do decided to be a pain in the ass.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Lovely messages

No one sent my great-aunt Elaine any lovely messages when she was in the hospital, because I never made a thread about her, because this is not the place for that. Or maybe, I will start making threads about my family.

Watch me.

Good luck Norn! I hope you are well soon and making more art, because the stuff I've seen is brilliant.

(And you look like you are feeling better as well)
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I? I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

And watch us not care. You inexplicably have mod immunity, so have at it. We'll continue to celebrate norn and miss pennywise and deride you in here! Have fun!

If you're real, see a shrink!

If you're fake, go to bed and take your meds!
