wow it ate 3 posts this time lol
Ugh, the board ate my post, but I can't get the image to work anyway.
I rename BWW message boards to audrey II
Those are random screencaps that I found; and apparently the site has the video of the CNN interview. My main issue is trying to find the website again, I kind of lost it :-X
EDIT: I lied, I googled Adam Pascal CNN and I found the site, hope this works; I've never linked a link before lol.

Ha!
CHEN: But the selling of "Rent" had just begun. It's estimated Jonathan Larson's creation could eventually take in a billion dollars. Some of the actors try to take a stand. Pascal refuses to participate in a Bloomingdale's campaign to market "Rent"-style clothing.
PASCAL: I've got nothing particularly agianst Bloomingdale's, as opposed to any other store. I just don't want to model clothes. I'm not a model. "Rent" is being sold quite well on its own. It doesn't need me to sell it anymore.
Fast forward 10 years later for the Sears (I think it was) clothing line during the movie promotions, hehe.

There was a Sears clothing line? That's funny.
Thats such a great find, Brina!
cool. i had to bookmark that. i didnt know that either store did Rent lines. but some of the stuff sold at nordstrom a few years ago would have fit right in.
The clothing line that came in line with the movie promotion was also at Bloomingdale's. They had the window displays and stuff.
haha, that makes it that much more ironic!
Times change, I guess. Or Adam.
he's not as angsty anymore
Well, this is Mr. "I Will Never Go Back to Rent or Aida" we're talking about.
He's just proving himself wrong time after time.
Since he's said he hates doing television, maybe we should expect to see him in a series next year. Thanks for the link, brina. I've seen many of those quotes from him online, but never in context like that.
A couple years ago, I never would have imagined him on the West Coast, either. I admit I'm hoping his time in Rent will steer him back to Broadway and he won't get too immersed in the film/TV scene.
Agreed Ariella. I've always thought it was a bit ironic when Adam said he would not come back to RENT or Aida in his last Chatterbox interview; then come a few months later...
Anyway, with the quote un quote "RETURN" I hope this gives more oppurtunities for Adam to try out new projects on Broadway. I don't know how well he'd do doing a TV series to be perfectly honest. He's very easy on the eyes when it comes to watching him on screen, but will his acting chops cut it? That's what I want to know.
PS: You're welcome Chloe! You'd be surprised how much stuff you can find when one is bored and MSN image searching
I wasn't being very serious about the TV series thing. I'd prefer him back on Broadway also.
But thinking about what is already out there (would he be willing to be a "replacement") and the pretty much full 07-08 line up already announced, can you picture him taking anything in particular?
I know, I know, but put those knee socks and roller skate fantasies away, I don't think he would do Xanadu! hehe

Maybe he and Raul will do something together
ha ha. well, we always have Chess
Oh I wasn't being very serious either Chloe; but just like Tink said, there doesn't seem to be alot of material that would be out there for Adam this season. Who knows, maybe he'll guest star on 'How I met you're Mother' with Neil Patrick Harris; that be swell
The CNN interview is interesting. Thanks for the link!
Today I saw that Tate Donovan is in Nancy Drew and it just reminded me that soon he'll be in a movie with Adam...
I noticed that too when I was reading the New Yorker's extremely mocking review of the movie. Donovan has some pretty diverse projects lined up, it appears.

hehe.
Only Adam-related by association, but Anthony updated his myspace blog. Apparently he's been in South Africa starting work on their Rent production.
For some reason, July 30 seems really far away

I just checked it. Anthony is eloquent. I love the contrast between their two writing styles.
