I guess the whole no-eating posts thing was too good to last.

I actually looked at Adam's page today to see if he updated and read the comments for laughs. They're still crazy. And that's just the general comments. I've never bothered with the blog comments.

I know, Anthony's blog entries are these eloquent lines about South Africa and Rent and the meaning of life, and Adam's like "enlarge your penis..today!"

gotta love those two, though. Now I feel like watching Rent with the commentary to prepare for The Return

we just watched RENT with the commentary turned on a couple days ago for that very reason. each time we listen, we hear something new and amusing. have fun:)

I wish there was a version of the Rent commentary where we could selectively remove every single word Chris Columbus speaks. And replace him with Jesse L. Martin. That would have been the perfect commentary.

Anthony's blog entries are these eloquent lines about South Africa

They make me wish he'd be eaten by a cheetah. That would have to be swallowed whole and later regurgitated out of distaste, because I don't want to miss him in Rent.

I bet Jesse and Adam would have (jokingly) mocked Anthony Rapp.

On a more serious note, Columbus's commentary did legitimately annoy me. I feel like he spoke the most but actually contributed the least.

I would have been disappointed if Jesse and Adam didn't mock Anthony Rapp.

How could Columbus contribute anything when Rapp explained his film making motives better than he did. Or when he kept asking "Is that how it was in the play?"

With a name like Chris Columbus, I'd say you're basically f*cked to begin with.

I don't dislike all of what he did with the Rent movie. But parts of his discussions in the commentary made me question him. Remember how he made such a big deal about how that one shot in La Vie Boheme when they say "not dying from disease" MUST feature all the principal characters? He went on about that, I was like "okay, we get it..." Then he was like "I haven't listened to the cast recording in a long time"

hmmm, actually I have some shirts that are robin's egg blue... and they do make blue eyes look REALLY blue.
