I can't believe I momentarily disabled my AdBlock so I could see the ad. Reminds me of the Subway poster I saw a few weeks back. Sadly, if the theater decided to sell a promotional poster during their run, I'd probably buy it.

Oh, me too. Even though I already have three. It's always the same thinking: "well, I don't have THIS one yet." When I first saw the show, I had a choice between the current cast and the original cast. I was an idiot, and figured that, duh, I wanted the cast I actually saw. I had no clue what a big deal the OBC was or anything. So I have the Joey/Manley/Jai poster. I like it, though, it's cool. A few years later, I bought the OBC poster when they began printing again, and I also have the tour poster with Adam on it.

I didn't get any souvenirs when I saw the show way back when. Somewhere I have pictures of the outside of the theater. I came home and bought the cast recording, but got the highlight one by mistake. I'm listening going, but what about this? Or what about that???

That's ok, at the time I also thought the guy who played Roger on the CR sucked, lol. How things change. :)

I did the same thing with the highlight recording. How I lived without Christmas Bells for so long, I do not know.

The morning star always gets wonderful bright the minute before it has to go --doesn't it?

Goodbye Love is not on the highlight recording? Wow...that's one of the most important songs in the show.

this has been mentioned, but Adam's voice sounds odd on the cast recording. Not like him.

I love it now that I have heard so much of his stuff. However, as against the OST that I am, I still prefer the mark/roger fight during Goodbye Love to the one on the OBC.

Someone said on another site that Adam's voice on the OBCR sounds unlike his voice anywhere else. I agree - a lot of it might have to do with the quality of the recording, but it's kind of odd.

I love his Glory on the movie soundtrack version

Am I the only one who thinks it would have been cute if they made Adam and Anthony reshoot the original pics they're using for the ads (same pose/colouring, only older)? Yeah, probably. I'm morbidly curious to see how that could have turned out. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I agree with you Tink, I think the fight at the end of Goodbye Love is way better on the OST.

I like Goodbye Love better on the movie sountrack as well, and it's a shame that the second part of Goodbye Love was not in the movie. That scene was really good.

I'm also a little curious as to what Rent's promotional photos would look like if Adam and Anthony were to re-shoot them. Of course, we'll find out what they'll look like in their roles July 30th.

I remember being so upset about the fight scene not being in the movie when I first saw it in theatres. After seeing it in the deleted scenes, I can see how it would have thrown off the pacing of the movie though.

That scene was so... volcanic live, when I saw it at the reunion. I can't even imagine what it was like during the OBC run.

I will admit that I pop in the Special Features disc and watch the scene often, and barely ever watch the entire movie, hehe.

There was a video on YouTube (not sure if its still there) of the Mark/Roger fight with Adam and Anthony (not the entire OBC, but close)and they were really explosive and emotional.

That banner makes me happy on sooooo many levals! I still cant believe I am going to see Adam in Rent, yes I still have mixed feelings about it, but if it is going to happen you bet your A$$ I am going to be there to see it!
