passingthrough- you can call me dancin, that's fine. And yes that is me in my avatar. I don't really like the picture though because I think it makes my legs look fat.

Damn, ladies, I had a bunch of catching up to do.

Never heard about the other interviews (besides the Chatterboxes). All of the Chatterbox proceeds go to BC/EFA right?

I've only seen Raul once live, passing, and he was truly amazing. Well twice, if you could Broadway Bee, but I was just staring up his nose the whole time, lol!

I don't think it was for charity, per day, just a special performance of Spelling Bee that they did, with Raul, Lea Salonga, and Brian Stokes Mitchell as guest spellers. Yes Raul punked out on the first word, but it was cute. I LOVED him and Barrett in the bleachers, they were hilarious!

Yup. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

Yes, I've had the pleasure of seeing Raúl perform live many, many times. He... is wonderful. I consider myself very lucky! re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

The Bee thing was a special theme night at Spelling Bee -- they had Stokes, Raúl and Lea Salonga as their guest spellers. There was one audience member too, I think. It wasn't for charity, just a fun thing. Raúl f*cked up his first word, but they had to try really hard to get Stokes out. The jokes were WONDERFUL that night, heh.

passingthrough-unfortunately, I've never been able to see Raul live, but I would love to someday as he is very talented. Come to think of it, I've never seen Adam live either, but that will change (hopefully) in August.

well August will be the first time I see Adam live in a musical production, but I have been lucky to see 3 of his solo shows in the last year.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I would love to see him in one of his solo shows because I love his music (especially his new material with Larry Edoff), but I don't think anyone I know would be willing to go. That could change after this summer, since I'm going with my friends to Rent, and I've told them a lot about Adam and Anthony.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

the show is actually very good, even from someone that doesn't know Adam. Buzz went with me to the first show, and he actually admitted to not having a bad time. He wasn't rushing to go again, but he said it wasn't bad, and he is like anti-broadway and all that comes with it, hehe!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I can't even express how excited I am to see Adam back on Broadway. I love seeing him perform his own music, and have great appreciation for how much he loves it, but I've always loved seeing him do musical theater most. I guess it's beacuse that's how I became a fan.

and the fact, Em, that at this point we moch his solo shows more than we enjoy them, lol! :)

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I'm really excited to see him in Rent again. The only person I've seen play Roger on Broadway was Tim Howar, so it'll be a nice change of pace while seeing the show in general. As for the Marks, Anthony will be my third (after Justin Brill and Christopher J. Hanke).

I might make it a goal of mine to go to one of Adam's solo shows within a year.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

Aww, I definitely still enjoy them, hee.

I've seen a lot of Rogers -- and all but one of them was really, really good. I've never seen a great Mark, except for Anthony at the reunion. Cannot waaaaaait.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I actually really liked Chrisopher J. Hanke as Mark-my favorite so far. Tim Howar as Roger was okay the first time I saw him, and was much better the second time alongside Hanke. The second time almost the whole cast had changed as well. The cast looks good for this summer, with Anthony, Adam, and Tamyra.

I'm not so sure if Adam hates the sunshine. He lives in LA, so that might be a problem. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12 Maybe he'll book Florida for his next batch of shows.

From the Second Chatterbox - we went one year of college at U of South Florida I believe. And yeah something to the effect he partied a lot, and then came back to NYIT to get his degree in communications.

I remember that too. Just imagine all the stories he has from that one year of partying... re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I'm still mad that I have never seen one of his solo shows. It's my goal to see him perform, live, once. I don't care if it's one of his solo shows, or a musical or something, but i would give anything for that chance!

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I always... meant to make a point of seeing Christopher, but never actually did. I neglected a lot of shows while Company was running. Ironically, the Mark I saw that I liked best was an understudy. I don't think I know anyone else who saw him, but his name was Chad Richardson, and he was fantastic. I have this idea of the perfect Mark, and he wasn't really that, but he was still really good. I also saw... Drew Lachey (heh!), Matt Caplan (major disappointment), Joey Fatone... I guess that's it, actually. I've never seen the same Roger twice, but I've repeated Marks. I do feel like I'm forgetting someone. Broadway.com used to have a section where they listed (most) actors who had ever played the roles in some long runnings shows. Does anyone know where it is? I can't find it.

ETA -- nevermind, found it.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I don't remember who played Mark, but when I saw it is was Manley Pope as Roger and Wilson as Angel (in his return). August 1999. I actually thought Manley was awesome back then, until I heard others, and well, yeah.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I'd come to the party to lure Adam!

I would've seen Matt Caplan, but got his understudy Justin Brill, who was okay. Matt Caplan has good solo music, though. I would love to see Christopher again, but that's not happening.

I still remember sitting in the audience and reading the playbill before the show began. I was like "OMG, that is him, I LOVED him in Sweet Valley High!" lol I was all excited.

I think Raul's ATW interview was on the American Theater Wing website.

passingthrough-This is definitely better than school. I've passed up lots of homework time to read and/or post in this thread.
