lol polly - nothing wrong with a GED.
mesmerized - 2002. Livin on a Prayer was a song that our class had used for something our sophomore year - hence "we're halfway there"- then we ended up using it as our unofficial senior song. Yeah, my all girls Catholic school wouldn't have been cool enough to let us have that great a song play at our commencement!
i know. i was glad to leave school. i love education i just couldn't hack the small minded small town people any more. i'm in college now

college is the best. I miss it
I would love to hear Adam do a bluesy song along the lines of "Night Time is the Right Time." He's got such a soulful voice, he could really shine with that kind of material. I think Beyond Belief was a terrific cover too.
I've been poking around IMDb to check out the new Aida page (only on IMDb Pro for now), and it's basically a big bunch of nothing. They have the potential Disney project all mixed up with an animated puppet version of the Verdi opera. It's pretty pathetic that something called "Pro" can't be more accurate.
How funny would it be if Adam covered Bon Jovi songs at his next concert.
I liked his performance of Someone Saved My Life Tonight as well. New York State of Mind and Maybe This Time are also up there.
His New York State of Mind was awesome (big Billy Joel fan here) but I know he could do it a bit better. I dunno, it seemed a bit to "recorded". I'd love to see him do it again and really open it up.
i'm watching the under pressure performance again and i have to ask: has michael ever had hair?? lol stupid question i know but every picture i have seen of him he's bald. any role where he hasn't been?

I'd love to see Adam and Anthony do a drunken performance...I so can't see Anthony ever doing that though, lol
have you read anthony's book?

Yeah
me too. i can't see him doing a drunk performance either. but i think it would be amusing

Oh, I thought you were going to say that he wrote about doing that in his book or something!
It would be amusing. Drunk Adam in that outfit though - priceless...
Their was definitely drunk Anthony in his book, just not performing.
Drunk Adam + Sparkly Jeans = Kodak Moment :P
well he talked about getting high & getting drunk but never mentioned performing that way. although frankly i can't picture him that way. i can't make that connection in my head.
I don't think Anthony would ever perform while drunk. He just seems like the type of person who would avoid doing that.
yeah i agree. i think he's a bit of a perfectionist and he'd be worried he'd mess up. i know i would be the same way though
I would be that way too.
I second (or third or fifth or seventeenth) whoever said Adam should cover Desperado. That would be awesome (and if he does, we'll know we are being watched... )

I'm slightly inebriated right now, but according to Voices for Rent, Adam was at the Nederlander today. Orangeskittles and I stopped by there after the show she saw because we had nothing to do and, of course, we missed him. We suck!
Also, Jaime Lee Kirchner is back in Rent as a standby for Mimi. For as much as I want to see Tamyra, I would love to see Jaime opposite Adam and Anthony as well.

Was he observing for reference? I work in the area. Running into him wouldn't have been so bad.

I have no idea. Someone just said that she saw him exiting the theatre. He might have just been there before the show for personal business and someone saw him leave.
I'd kind of laugh if he felt the need to see the show in order to refresh his memory.

I'm inclined to believe that he was probably just rehearsing or getting some business in order before the show. We arrived when there was still a considerable amount of people there, and I didn't overhear anyone having a semi-meltdown over the fact that OMG Adam Pascal just exited the theatre. Still, though. Disappointing!
And to any lurkers reading: we don't normally hang out at the stagedoor, I swear.
