Thanks, Emcee. So probably closer to how he looked recently on tour perhaps.
pictures anyone? can't wait to see a photo of the current look :)
Hey DancinQueen,
is that you in your avatar? I work at a photography studio and never know how to have dancers pose, but I dont think that that one looks like the easiest thing to do. hehe (especially since most of our clients are under 10!)
Anyways nice photo!
Yes that is me and yes it's really hard to pose like that. We had to do a count off. The photographer went 1...2...and on 2 I had to get in the pose and hold it for 3 while he took the picture. It actually wasn't too bad it only took us about 4 trys.
ETA-While we're off topic, I just want to let everyone know that I'm leaving today for dance camp and I won't be back until thursday next week. Try not to have too much fun without me.
i agree with wall.
have fun at dance camp queen
and pass has become our public service announcement lol
Yay for the bleach blonde hair!!!!
Yeah, have fun, queen!
Someone posted on IMDb about Adam and Anthony attending the performance a couple of nights ago:
Hey Ya'll...I went to see rent thursday night...and you will never guess who was sitting near me...lol...ADAM PASCAL and ANTHONY RAPP...I was freaking out on the inside....but i tried to stay calm...at intermission i gave them a little wave and then they waved back...omg i wanted to melt...I can't wait to see them...I heard someone ask them why they were there...and they said they just wanted to see how the cast and show have changed since they were in it...I also heard them say they were starting rehearsals on Monday!!....
I think I'm in the minority that likes Adam's hair bleached. Maybe it's because I find it funny that he can still pull it off.
I swear, the topic of Adam pops up in the most random places in my life. Yesterday, I was with a customer on her porch talking about my major and theater. She said she wouldn't let her daugter go to school in NYC a few years ago because she had a slight obsession with Aida and was afraid she'd spend all her money seeing it.

I would too if I lived in the NYC area during that time If I may ask, what are you majoring in sweetdisaster?

Now I want to hang out down there and try to see them during this rehearsal period. That little commitment called work is rather annoying.
hey sweetdisaster i'm a theatre major too! finishing up all my req's before i start the "fun" stuff. it's gonna take me another 4 years to graduate though
brina, I'm a PR/Advertising/Theater major. I'm indecisive. But what I really want to do is theater PR, which is probably never going to happen considering the size of the industry.
You never know, you should always look on the bright side of things. Someone may decide they don't want to be a theater PR anymore than *POOF!* job opening for toi! I hope all goes well for you, and for Polly as well. I'm still rather indecisive on what I want to do, but it involves something with vocal performance, theater, journalism, photography, or critical writing.

Sweetdisaster, I love that avatar - that is one of my favorite pictures from the old days. I'm loving all the OBC pictures that are popping up - I need to find a a new avatar.
I so respect anyone in the theater business, because I love it so much and I just don't have the balls to do it. Nor the talent!
I wish I had studied it more though, I really do. Oh well, being an English major isn't so bad.
PR work sounds fun - it seems like you need connections, like anything in that field. But brina's right, timing is everything
Heh, I'm not actually a theater major, Polly. I did a lot of MT in high school, but I am so not an actress. I'm focusing on theater history and management.
You still have time to decide, Brina! Do you know where you want to go to school yet? How much longer do you have left?
And YES misschung. Connections are everything. I'm slowwwly trying to make them!

It's so frustrating because unless you know people, you just have to do it the long way. Meanwhile others have a step up on you, and you're like "hey...not fair!" But whatever is supposed to hapeen will happen, I think.
My high school sucked so much for musical theater...or, ANY theater. hehe.
Brina, are you in college yet, or are you going in the fall?
I'm going to be a junior in high-school come this fall, so I've got a while to think about what my purpose is I've been volunteering and working for scholorships alot this summer, so hopefully that'll help me out a bit. I know that I'd prefer to go out of state (and the mid-west) for college, and if it was in the NYC area that be freaking amazing, but we'll see. I can only push my parents buttons so much!
Thy start rehearsals on Monday? But don't they actually start in Rent on Tuesday?
I think they start rehearsing this upcoming Monday July 23, and then START Monday July 30.
Yeppers, Tink beat me to it. I also love that you used 'thy' GG, very Shakespearan cool if I do say so myself
Oh, I got confused. Sorry.
I love being Shakespearian. :P But that was a typo, sadly. :)
And I spelled Shakespearian wrong which is a crime! :-O
I also thought this was slightly amusing in a Rent-fangirly/awkward way:

It would be so exciting to start the whole college process over again. Not the actual application nightmare, but just starting the experience again. you'll have so much fun, wherever you go.
College was a great experience for me too.
It's usually Shakespearean, girls, for no good reason except that's how it is, but the dictionary lists Shakespearian as a variation.
Yup, Adam looks pretty blond from what little we can see in that video.

holy crap, the video! He was the first one who walked out right? Yes, he looks very blond indeed. Rock star blond though, not porn-star blond, heh.
What were those girls doing with the puppets outside the theater? I'm so confused
