The paisley isn't too far from something Adam would wear, though. That's why it's funny!
Ugh, I'm sick of work. I want to be independently wealthy, lol
Did Adam like that hairstyle? If not, he probably liked the wardrobe. :P
Ahahaha, those pictures. I overslept and that's what I see when I log in? Oh boy.
Do you guys think Adam and Tate look quite a bit alike in that first one?
ummm ok speechless. definitely a different look than we are accustomed to for Adam. I think this will certainly prove his skills as an actor.

hopefully..
Eh, I'm already convinced. But yeah, I'm really anxious to see this. It sounds like the kind of movie I'd like regardless.
yeah, i'm convinced too, but unfortunately not everyone is appreciative as we are otherwise he'd be giving Matt Damon & Ben Affleck a run for their money. Adam's easily as talented (if not more) than they are.
And I highly doubt those two could rock a guitar plus bejeweled jeans like Adam can: that's a fact
I think he looks really cool in those pictures actually. When I first saw the sideburns I thought those belonged more to a person in the late 1800's than in the 70's; but it's still pretty b!tching to me. Also the glasses are rather shweet.
I also noticed that there's a drag queen in the one of the pictures; I thought they both share similar pant styles
I'm convinced of his acting skills as well, but this is a bit of a different role for him, so I'm curious.
Yes, even for the 70's those sideburns are a bit fuzzy! Great pictures though.

It will be nice to see Adam flex his acting chops in a substantive role - this looks like a good movie
ok how sad am i? i woke up singing Someone Saved My Life Tonight. I was making coffee and singing it without even realizing it. When I thought about it I was like "what AM i singing? lol of course now i had to go play it
Whenever I get a song stuck in my head, it helps to listen to it, heh.
I'm thinking the film will be great, and it is exciting to see him try something different. Now if only he would do that for the stage *cough-RENT return-cough* I'd be a happy camper; but we'll see.
Is it just me or does his mustache remind me of Michael Cerveris's during his Assassins run?
It's definitely different for him. "First onscreen kiss with a boy..." Onscreen? Oh, Adam.
Yeah, the "onscreen" distinction was not lost on me -- this thread's proud gay representation.
And those pictures! I can live with the mustache for the sake of the period, but those sideburns? They don't look at all reasonably real, or even match his hair color. I don't get it.
Sorry, Chloe, I thought I quoted you earlier. Uh you mentioned the Adam Florida concert and Tink also said there was a concert on the 10th which is my birthday so I was just saying thanks again.
Also the American Primitive photos made me laugh. And I don't understand ... something about puppets and touching someone's hair? hee hee I was trying not to be judgmental until I heard the hair thing. Aren't there laws against that sort of thing? The rent cast (referring to any cast members, ever) seem to have to put up with a lot. I hope they're warned ahead of time about the unstable fans. (Didn't someone try to follow Adam home on the subway once?)
And, hi, to the rest of you. How come nobody told me even community college is expensive. hee hee.
*sigh* Okay now I'm caught up, I think. That carpentry picture completely made me think of some sort of annoyed Biblical character.
Someone tried to follow Adam home? That sounds like an interesting story.
Another interesting story would be the guy Adam kissed *offscreen*, if he did.
That's okay, passingthrough, I just didn't remember what you were referring to.
I've heard someone followed Adam home from Rent too, but I don't remember from where. There was also a rather serious Aida stalker apparently.
I've got an example of crazy stagedoor stalkers since we're on the subject. When the touring company of RENT came to the Twin Cities last year it had a respectable run at the Ordway center. The stage-door at the Ordway is very easy to spot, so while walking back to the car with my ma we saw a few of the actor's come out and head back to there hotel. All of a sudden this group of rather giddy 13 year old girls start screaming and nearly pounced on the guy who was playing Mark. The poor dude was trying to get back to his hotel but the girls followed him till he finally got a taxi and dodged them. I mean honest to god do these people have no dignity? Actor's are humans, not out of this world super-beings.
But does anyone know if he has ever filed a lawsuit against that said stalker?
I vaguely remember hearing stories of girls chasing him down the street after RENT, but I never had any validation. Wouldn't shock me though.
Movie looks interesting.
