After 10 long years, I finally saw him in the pants again. I am happy.
There are plenty of tix - I walked up today and got front Orch.

I've been thinking about those pants all day. I can't get over how cute Anthony looked when he came out on stage with his camera and the scarf and everything. He's so cute
I wonder if they'll come out after the matinée tomorrow

The boys
I'd love to have seen Adam and Anthony trying on their costumes again for the first time. They were probably cracking up
Brina, have you been emailing The Booking Group? That's what listed on Adam's myspace, and they show him on their page. This is a different company from last year.
I love how most everyone has commented that Adam's acting (in addition to his singing)is awesome. I am also so glad to hear there are metal barrigades up. Last night sounded scarey for the actors and the crowd. seems that things are going very well. does anyone know how well tonight's stagedoor went?
yeah! my avatar's up! :)

I'm in heaven!!!! :)
I really have to thank Jenna for being kind and patient with me tonight. I totally went fangirl, and I really though I was going to be good, lol!
thanks for posting, these are exciting times! I'd love to hear more... :)
Tink, I've been staying up hoping to hear from you...
I posted a lot on the main board thread.
Sorry, I had to wait to catch the 11:54pm train.
Can I just say YAY plaid pants! Jenna and I totally squealed when we saw them. Although I was a bit disappointed they weren't as snug fitting anymore, lol!
Yeah, I've been reading your posts over there too. I can't say I was disappointed in the plaid pants. The memory of him walking stage left won't leave me soon.
I CAN'T SLEEP.
lol. I really enjoyed it. I have only seen Adam in his three solo shows this year, but he was in top form! He even nailed the notes on simple things like "They padlocked our door" in Happy New Year and stuff. That made me the happiest. He did not flub one line, although it seemed in Goodbye Love he was about to, but he took a second and did it fine. The intensity and angst was there, but not overly done like with some other recent Rogers. His "dancing" in LVB was the best I have ever seen (seen a few clips from OBC on youtube and stuff). Of course we were dying laughing because it is Adam, but he actually was into it and stuff. The "I'm Roger" shimmy was awesome, and I loved his new take on "erection on the high holy days", lol.
It sounds like the old days, Emcee. I hope you get some rest before tomorrow night.
It was a little hard for me to see him in La Vie Boheme, but I know what you mean. He really nailed those moves, along with that sweet little dance with Mimi in Happy New Year. I guess that time in Cabaret made a difference, on a lot of fronts.
One of the things I like best about Adam is how he can bring a lot of emotion to what he does without going over the top.
It kind of feels strangely like the old days. Some components are certainly missing, but there are new ones now, too. I don't think anything can ever really replace those days, but it's somehow comforting to feel this kind of giddy anticipation again.
I am more glad than ever that I am going again next week. I tried focusing on the whole show, but my eyes just followed Adam wherever he went and stuff like that. So hopefully now that I have gotten that out of my system, I can take the full show in next time.
I could not sleep last night, lol. I was so excited. I still haven't come down from my RENT high for the evening. I'll probably stay up and write an official review while it's fresh in my mind.
I feel some sort of obligation to post a "review," but I really think I'm going to be at a loss for words with this one.

I just asked if Tink enjoyed the show on the Adult thread, and then it dawned on me that she'd be in here!
Hope it was everything you two ladies wanted it to be - you deserve that
i have to transfer all my reviews from the broadwayworld blog site since they are going to start charging at the end of the year. Tonight is as good a night as any to start.
Hiya DG! Yes it was wonderful.
Hi DG! I'm seeing it tomorrow. Ahh, too wired to sleep. But I've got to wake up fairly early. Hm.
Tink, what broadwayworld blog are you talking about? I really don't search around this site a whole lot, just here and few other threads. but is there a review blog somewhere? anyways, can't wait to read your official review. :)
through broadway world you could sign up for a blog site. I used mine just for theater reviews, others used it for that and regular stuff too. There is an option on the sidebar right above chatroom.
I just realized I never did a review for Chicago or Gypsy, so I have to post them before GG & RENT, argh.
Got home a little while ago and now I'm WIDE awake.
Such a great night. They both impressed me so much, even though I knew they'd be fantastic. Tink's exaggerating about her fangirliness...tonight definitely brought out my inner 13 year old.
I was surprised how quick they came out of the stage door. We were standing down the street when we heard the crowd just explode. I managed to get a few blurry pictures thanks to a teenager who was standing on a seat and took them for me. In the process, I was nearly taken out by a 12 year old with a Rent Bible.
Glad to see you made it home safe and sound!!
Thank you for sharing tonight with me, it really made a difference to experience it with someone that appreciated and understood it! Yes, Jenna was the brave one who attempted to get close. We stayed away, lol.
