I can't believe I am still awake, oh well.
Here is my official review, it is long and probably horribly written, but it could be worse, lol! I am not good with translating my feelings to paper/word document, and there are many feelings flowing right now! K, maybe I'll try to go get some sleep.

great review, tink! Glad you guys had fun. I'm wondering what time people are showing up to get these center orchestra tickets.
I couldn't sleep the night I saw it either. The nostalgia of seeing them on stage at Rent again has made me so emotional, lol. It's so bad!
Thanks, Tink. I'm excited.
Ooh, I'll be sure to read that later, Tink.
I woke up so nauseous this morning. When I get excited, my stomach just... like, rebels. It's funny, though, the way my body just KNOWS. I feel sick the moment I open my eyes. It's kind of funny, though, because I remember SO many other mornings like this. When Adam went into Cabaret, I was going to see it with my best friend from high school. I had to get up at like 8 that morning, but I shot out of bed at around 6 a.m. My mom found me sitting there, just bouncing in bed at the crack of dawn. She asked me what was going on, and I remember just blurting out: "HAPPY ADAM DAY!" '
And thus, it was. Even if I was much younger and less wise. So, happy Adam day.
Teeheehee, I hope you have fun Emcee
I'll see about checking that out Chloe. It seems everytime I've emailed them there responses are not in the least helpful. But I think Ariella and I can figure it out now, thanks for the help!
I feel like a bad fan for not having changed my avatar... but I haven't the heart to take this one away. It's been a month today.
I hope you get somewhere with booking him, Ariella.
I woke up so early this morning for no reason, and was like "ok, I'm ready to do that again." You'll have an incredible time Emcee. Such a special experience for me. (And we thought of you when he started taking his jacket and shirt off. I finally get the arm obsession. Sure he's not as built as he was 10 years ago, but I wouldn't call it soft either )
No, Tink, thank you for being there, but I have to say, that my arm hurts today from you slapping me so much.
I hope you have a great time, Emcee! It sounds like you're super excited. :)
At the risk of embarassment, I may let my inner fourteen-year-old out to play tonight. She deserves this. I mean, it wouldn't be complete without (quietly) squealing, "OMGARMS!!!" ... right?
It's a dream come true. Perhaps moreso than even the reunion was. I feel really lucky because if I could choose any two to come back, it would be them.
are you in the show?!?
lol, Jenna, sorry! :)
Em, let it all go tonight, it is such a rejuvenating experience, lol!
I finally fell asleep around 6am. Blah. But yes, I am so ready to go back again tonight! :) Oh well, a few more days won't kill me, I hope.
I am, RobbO. Do you want my autograph?
She's Adam's dresser. Hard job, but someone had to do it, and Em selflessly stepped up.
She tried for Raul's personal sponge bath attendant, but that position hasn't quite come to fruition yet!
Well, I'm female. So.
You never know, with his upcoming pimp position he may need some assistance Keep you're pic Emcee, I think it's wonderful!
Thanks, Jenna. We shall see.
Have a fabulous time, Emcee. This is a time to celebrate - there's nothing wrong with fangirling in moderation.
"I am, RobbO. Do you want my autograph?"
yes, emcee, but first i want to be smashed up against a lincoln continental for a 1/2 hour.
sounds kinky
I would make a joke about how violent seeing Rent has become, except that it seems to be somewhat true, if you try to stagedoor.
Anyone heard from Lexi? I was hoping she'd write more about Monday night.
FUN review, Tink!

The Dangers of Seeing Rent and The Dangers of Being In Rent. Two untold stories. :P
I've been to many rock concerts and rarely do I see the scene that we experienced last night. I was trying to people watch and see who really liked A&A that much, and who was doing it just because they were the original leads.
If stagedooring does keep these antics up, you are going to see a lot of signed playbills going up on EBAY for some good money.
Aww, thanks MYB! Are you going to be able to see the show at all during the run?
Nope...the disadvantages of living in California. I get to NY at least every year or two, but the timing of this one just isn't working.
BUT, like I said, I did see him in Rent in 1996, and in Aida twice, and in concert in SF. At least I've seen/met him!

Yeah, Tink, thanks for writing such a detailed review. I know how you felt last night, I got very wired after the show myself.
What's strange is that no one seems to have picked up on the stagedoor chaos story. I can understand the Times, for instance, deciding that Anthony and Adam coming back isn't something they want to write about, but you'd think they'd be interested in the insane reaction that it's provoked. I feel like we're in a BWW bubble on this.
ETA: that's a shame, MYB. I'd enjoy hearing your take on his performance now.
