and the colored wigwam socks
Craww - you are going to have such an awesome time!
I was pretty sure it was the 9th. I bought the wrong date for opening night, so I'll be sure to wait on ordering now!
lol! Jenna gets click happy!
It's definitely the 9th. Anthony said the 10th at some point, which confused everyone.

oh no! Someone said it was the 31st after I ordered mine too, I was like "you have to be kidding me..."
Broadway.com and almost everywhere else have it as the 9th, so I'm pretty sure that's right.
I was listening to the film soundtrack today. I am in love with the version of Glory on that recording. I totally teared up during the I'll Cover You reprise. That was so beautiful on Monday night with Adam and Anthony singing the chorus.
ICY:R was good, but just I can't have the same reaction if Jesse isn't singing it. I love other peoples versions of Glory, Your Eyes, and Goodbye Love....but NO ONE can replace Jesse in that song for me!

I agree. I just love the part of the song when everyone comes in with the "five hundred twenty five thousand six hundred minutes" chorus - I was focusing on that, I loved seeing Adam and Anthony be part of it.
Also, I forgot that Roger doesn't help bring Mimi upstairs in the finale. On Monday night he looked kind of apathetic too. I dunno
I hope Em made it through the chaos tonight without any bodily harm! Anyone hear anything from her yet?
Judging from a description of the matinee stagedoor (for which Adam didn't come out, by the way), I hope so too. The poster loved the show, but has paper cuts, bruises and scratches to show for her autographs.
And with Jesse and Gwen there, ALL bets are off!
This is such a sad display for the theater community.
I could be wrong, but I believe a few of out ladies are from Minnesota! I hope all of them and their families are ok in wake of this bridge tragedy!
ETA: I went back and looked and Ariella and brina are both from MN.

aw, I love Jesse and Gwen.
holy sh*t, I hope they are okay in MN! That is so, so terrifying - why don't they keep up with those old bridges
They have both posted since the incident, but I just hope all their friends and family are ok.

That's good to hear - I hope so too. Bridges scare me so much. My heart goes out to those families who lost loved ones. That's just so scary
My 4 hours of sleep is starting to catch up with me, so I can't wait up any longer for Em's review. I'll catch up with all the happenings in the morning.
I'm not posting a review. I'm sorry. I just can't. I... I don't know. I still hardly believe that it was real. They were everything I had hoped for.
But ugh, the fans are disgraceful.

I know I shouldn't be as surprised as I am, considering I'm flying out of state to see them. But I just keep thinking "come on kids, it's just Rapp and Pascal. For real."
I'm glad you had a good time, Emcee!
I hope Adam stage doors future matinees...
Yeah, Brina and I are both fine, thanks Tink. The whole thing is bad, and my dad literally missed it by minutes.
I'm so glad Em. Did you attempt the stagedoor, or was the mob too off-putting from the beginning? (It's awful when fans become a "mob" because then they start to detract from the whole experience.)
I tried, yeah, but was completely unsuccessful. The fact that I wasn't willing to risk injury made getting close enough for either of them to have caught my eye impossible. It's frustrating because they DO detract from what could be a very pleasant experience -- not because I didn't get to see Adam, or something, but because those kids who shriek for twenty minutes on end are... annoying does not even BEGIN to cover it. That kind of insanity just makes me angry. I have no patience for it, not to mention that it reflects poorly on the fanbase. The house staff really needs to come up with something more orderly -- it's really not that hard to think of something both safer AND more efficient.
Oh, and also, lots of cameras there last night.
Yeah, I agree. That kind of situation just asks for choas! I would almost have preferred them not comming out at all!
I thought you were going to be the one with the good stories though, didnt you say you knew someone
I have a friend in the current cast, but the chaos made it impossible to get to him. I would have needed to make arrangements ahead of time.
Adam and Anthony tried REALLY hard to be as accommodating as they could. They really put up with a lot, but there really needs to be a better method.
ic, I thought that it was going to be one of those sure bet type things. I expected you to be comming out the infamous stage door with them
I would of sooo been on making those arangments as soon as I got my tickets! or sooner
You say there were lots of cameras, do you mean people trieng to take pics during the show? or are you talking about press finally beng there?
Well, I'm seeing the show more than once. And I live here. So it's not a big deal. Really, I'm more just... annoyed by the crazies than I am bummed out about not getting to see the boys.
