Maybe he was attempting to enter the theatre incognito. (Didn't work.)
That's a funny picture. He looks like he was caught (which he was).
I really don't think there are many ways for him to enter incognito. People waiting there ahead of time are probably there with binoculars, etc. lol. I know I heard that on Monday a car dropped them off (seperate) to the theater, I wonder if they are still doing that.
Greetings from DC!
Husky Roger? I hope that's not what you'd consider husky, lol. Someone on the other thread did comment about how he's gained weight, though.
I think he looks better than how skinny he looked at some of his shows earlier this year.
Jenna - package went out in the mail today!
Jenna, you're in DC? *waves* I'm in Maryland.
Adam is the posterchild for why you should never stagedoor before a show in that picture. He looks pissed. When Lexi and I stopped by, I was worried we'd bump into an actor on their way in for the matinee, and I didn't want to look like one of *those* people.
The girls in the picture look a bit nervous, maybe they know he wasn't too happy to be photographed. He certainly doesn't look like a happy camper :-X
EDIT: also searched some of the Facebook groups, found a few interesting ones:
This one looks like the lady is kissing his forhead...
And this one looks like he's admiring Tamyras *cough* features...
And this one's for everyone who liked the buff bodyguard!
That's a rare one, angry Adam.
yeah, he's not showing his pearly whites.....
usually he's a very easy smiler...
it bothered me that she just had to point out in her comment that he had a tiny spot on his shirt. real nice.
Oh, I hadn't noticed the stagedoor pictures! Interesting, the crowds look menacing.
Lord help us if there's one comment about Adam that isn't 100% positive. A year ago on this thread, we used to compete to try to find the worst pictures of Adam possible to post. There's nothing wrong with good-natured mocking and anyone that thinks there is needs to seriously rethink their priorities.
Thanks for the bodyguard picture, brina.
Somehow, I think here in this thread we've managed to bring out both the best and worst of Adam, whether intentionally or not.
Remember that picture, posted by Craww, with Adam in eye makeup? Now that was quite interesting.
Anytime skittles, isn't he pretty?
The thing I like about this thread is it's not a "OMG- Adam-is-sooooo-hot-I-LYKE-want-his-babies!!" type of place. We can poke fun at his antics/choices but still respect him as performer; which I think is the most important thing of all. I mean, it be so boring if we just fawned over him 24/7 wouldn't it?
Right, a little perspective is always a good thing. Neverthless I can't help but feel a little vindication. After years of nasty remarks about him, it's so great to see all these fantastic reviews. I've never thought he was perfect, just very special, and one of the benefits of not being perfect is the room that leaves for improvement. I just hope that what he's doing now will be seen by the right people and lead to other work.

I like that about this thread as well. I've always liked and respected Adam more for his work in theater and with his own music. His talent, in general.
Well, you're usually most critical of those you admire. And it's pretty easy to poke fun at him
Yup, Skittles, I'm in DC, Virginia Beach and Baltimore for a week of family fun.
Honestly, with all the craptasitc outfits Adam's pulled off, he's leaving the barn door WIDE open for criticism. Maybe he likes it...
Have fun with you're family sweetdisaster!
He likes being talked about, in general. :P
Some of those screencaps -- especially the ones where they're both in profile -- are strangely reminiscent of Elaborate Lives.
Adam is unfamthomable sometimes - won't go near Jesus Christ Superstar, but wants to be the Phantom.
Well, I wonder if that's not just all part of the "avoid the pigeonhole" philosophy -- JCS is a rock opera, and if he's still sticking to what he said about not wanting to be "the rock opera guy," then wanting to do a show like Phantom doesn't really seem all that unfathomable to me.
Honestly, most actors don't like to be bothered on their way to work -- they have warmups and things they have to do when they get to the theater. I can personally attest to the fact that Adam is more than agreeable to photographs with his fans when it's not an infringement. But when they clearly don't want to be bothered, that's another story. I think he's a great guy, but I agree with the posts that are pro-perspective.
Yeah, that's what I meant. We're critical and poke fun, but I dare anyone to try to suggest we aren't dedicated fans. I just don't think "His shirt is kind of sweaty" is necessarily means they're evil Adam haters. I just heard about some really messed up fan behavior at Rent the other day, so I guess I'm defensive about what actually is bad enough to make you a "bad" fan.
Oh, and also, more catching up... even Raúl knows the difference between "rock out" and "I love you." Hah.
Adam's that special person who can get his symbols mixed up and still not be looked down upon. :P

First of all, nah, I don't think he looks truly husky in that picture, or any recent picture, for that matter. He doesn't look as firm as he did with the OBC (he looks like a dad...ILF), but honestly, at least half of what I post on this thread is just the result of me joking around. I posted my super-glowing review of Rent on the main board, but when you're posting on the Adam Pascal Love Thread, you have to approach at least some of this stuff with a sense of humor. There's a time and place for everything.
I don't agree with intentional pre-show stagedooring and personally have never done it (although I'll be awfully tempted if a certain actress refuses to exit the stagedoor at any point with her next show...), but to be fair, those girls could have been at the theatre purchasing tickets or for another reason and happened to bump into him. I don't know if I personally would have stopped him for a picture, but I can understand why someone might. That said, they could have also camped out there all morning. Who knows.
