Some of those screencaps -- especially the ones where they're both in profile -- are strangely reminiscent of Elaborate Lives.
Adam is unfamthomable sometimes - won't go near Jesus Christ Superstar, but wants to be the Phantom. Well, I wonder if that's not just all part of the "avoid the pigeonhole" philosophy -- JCS is a rock opera, and if he's still sticking to what he said about not wanting to be "the rock opera guy," then wanting to do a show like Phantom doesn't really seem all that unfathomable to me.
Honestly, most actors don't like to be bothered on their way to work -- they have warmups and things they have to do when they get to the theater. I can personally attest to the fact that Adam is more than agreeable to photographs with his fans when it's not an infringement. But when they clearly don't want to be bothered, that's another story. I think he's a great guy, but I agree with the posts that are pro-perspective.
