Umm, heck yes he can!
Anyway I really agree with what you said Emcee and Chloe as well(I think you two worded it better than I ever could!) The reason why I brought it up was over a conversation a friend and I had. She had seen Aida with the OBC cast when she was younger and she adored it; the only main problem she had was with the person playing Radames (aka Adam). She said that despite the fact that he was very handsome, VERY buff, and had an amazing voice; she thought that he did not connect with the character at all. She described it as him being rather awkward and stiff, like he didn't seem to be comfortable with the dialogue scenes for whatever reason.
See, for the longest time I've always thought of Adam as just a singer with an acting gig, and not someone who could bridge the gap between being a really good singer and a really good actor (again, just my opinion; I'm simply baseing this on videos I've seen etc. Most everyone here has seen him and can completely disagree with moi, that's totally cool.) But from hearing all these reviews with the Return, I think he's finally getting the best of both worlds. And I know he won't ever be like Raul, and Raul will never be like Adam (or Adam won't be like Michael Cerveris...and you get my gist~); but to me it's exciting to finally see him getting a little respect from other board members/people who may not have cared for him previously. Bahh I'm rambling but that's what I meant when I was talking previously, if this makes any sense
