haha, that made me chuckle!
No matter how many times I see that it never seems to get old!

Mandi Moo, nice pic.
I LUV Adam Pascal. When I saw him in "school of Rock" I freaked out. That's where it all began...
That's saying a lot, considering he's onscreen in School of Rock for all of 45 seconds total...
And has some really bad hair in the first scene.
Tee-hee
the shirt is just as equally horrid as the hair, lol!
LOL at the eye roll.
He really loves that necklace, doesn't he? I give him credit, though. I probably would have lost it after all this time.
Such a tragic wig, extremley tragic.
I like that necklace, I actually bought one just like that off a bag lady downtown. 2 dolla's baby, a total steal
I'm so bored and sad right now. Spring break's almost over, and I didn't do ANYTHING. Just sat in my room and sulked. I feel like such a meany diva right now. Grr.
Yes, he looked odd early in the movie. But in the end, with the haircut and the open shirt and the....WHEW!

I found Adam quite convincing in School of Rock. Almost like they never let him in on the joke.
It's almost hard to notice Adam, bad mullet and all, with that very strange man lurking in the background. He has one of the strangest tapering waists I've ever seen on a man, like he spent most of his adult life engaging in corsetted waist training like Dita Von Teese .
OMG when he dances on stage during the battle of the bands...it's so funny! He literal does look like a freakishly kinky dominatrix/stripper.
Some people found that guy sexy. Not my taste AT ALL, and the scene where he flirts with Joan Cusack kind of made me squirm. The songs Adam did in SOR are deliberately on the mediocre side, since No Vacancy is supposed to be a mediocre band, but Adam sang the hell out of them.

Fight for your loooooooove, yeeee-eaaaaah! :)
I'm with you Chloe. Creepy, creepy, skinny guy, eek.
How are rehearsals going, Allie? I wish we could all see you on stage.

They're going very well! I'm still nervous as hell, but it's all coming together wonderfully. My problem at the moment is trying to figure out what to do with my hair. It's very straight, and almost down to my shoulders. Not very '50s looking!
It sounds like you'll need to curl it. I found a page of 50s hairstyles - unfortunately they're pretty ghastly.
ETA: There's also a French twist, which would be easier with long hair, but I'm not sure how suitable it is for your character.

I'm reading some things about pin curls and rag curls. I think I'll at least give it a try tomorrow night. My sister suggested just flipping all the ends out and putting on a headband, but I think it will make me look too young. There's already a 30 year age difference between me and my love interest... no need to exaggerate that!
The picture of the redhead in the middle of that page is really cute. I hope I can get my hair to hold a curl!!
Are you talking about the Suzy Parker picture? I would think that look would be best for you if you can do it. A French twist would probably be too severe.

I find pin curled styles really really cute. Good luck with that, Allie.

I have a special love on for Heal Me, I'm Heartsick because it was written by Craig Wedren, who is one of my favorite musicians. I find it ridiculously hilarious.

That's the one, Chloe. I found a Vintage Hairstyles community on Livejournal, so I've got a few more ideas. I love the pincurls, too, Craww!
Back to your regularly scheduled program... :) G'night!
Oooh, I hope Allie gives us more details on her performance; I find that a bit more exciting than chatting about creepy thin leather clad wanna-be rocker boy. Man I miss performing in plays
I guess those styles seem quaintly antique to you girls, while to me they occupy a similar place as the mullet does for a lot of you.
Good night, Allie, have fun!
I was in this thread a long time ago. back in the time of tread 6. I missed alot due to school.
