Hah! PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one who remembers gURL.com from 1997 or so (... Craww and Regina?).
The description for "tenor" cracks me up.

Welcome back, Speller. I was curious, so looked up part six - it was a year ago, and over two and half years since the first one.
Back to SOR - I think Fight is the heaviest, screamiest rock song Adam has ever recorded.

Hilarious. Smooth and sexy. Always sounds like a marketing campaign gone terribly wrong.
Furthermore, since when are Mya and Ciara window-shattering, or even sopranos?

Aww, poor Lexi! Your roommate seems to do that a lot.
I guess I'm a window shatter with Mya and Ciara
That sucks Lexi, but cat naps are always a good way to catch up on some zzz's.
Here's a picture I've always liked from Adam's return to Aida, which is when I first saw him onstage -

Where's it from?
There was a street fair on Greenwich Avenue today. I'm a sucker for those things, so I walked through all of it and bought Lancome and Revlon eye shadow and lipstick for $3-4. I also bought these magnets for $5 total:

SO hot!
Yes indeedy. Nice magnets. It was a good day to be outside.
If I were anywhere near as organized as you with my computer stuff, Lexi, I might know where that picture is from. All I can tell you is that it's a fan photo taken when he was signing autographs at the stage door, probably before the show, as that's when he was more liable to sign then.
Great picture, Chloe.
I was definitely a member of gURL.com back in the day. It was one of the whole five sites my parents used to let me go on. I wonder if most people know who Roger from Rent is, though.
In other news, I'm pretty sure I have a concussion and feel like crap.
How did that happen? Have you been to a doctor?
Back in '97 a lot of people had heard of Rent. I knew about it, though I hadn't seen it and wasn't going to much theater. It got an enormous amount of publicity.
I was getting out of bed this morning (it's lofted), and my ladder wasn't attached. I fell about 6 feet flat on my back and hit my head on the floor. I went to health services, but they weren't much help other than to tell me that I shouldn't drink or do sports. I don't think it takes a doctoral degree and two hours of waiting to figure that out.

Feel better, Jenna! That sounds absolutely awful. At least you seemed to be having a pretty good time last night.
Thanks! I don't think there are words to describe how much my head hurts right now. It doesn't help that every room around me is blasting music.
Ouch! That must have really hurt. Here's something to take your mind off it.

Wasn't gURL.com the site where you could build your own guy? And it had like different clothes and stuff that you could pick?
hope your headache improves. i have a tad of a hangover so i feel your pain
Chloe's my hero for having such amazing pictures.
I really hope you feel better sweetdisaster, maybe these earmuffs might help ya out:
There warm, fuzzy, and block out noise!
I could really use those ear muffs right now. Thanks, guys.
Where's the second picture from, Chloe? Was it from a TV show?
Hmm, I have seen that particular 'pose' from a video on the site that must not be named. But it was just a Tony recap montage of all the shows that were put on that year; and they had a little stint about AIDA.
I believe that picture originally came from a foreign (maybe Japanese) site that had a bunch of performance pictures. They look like screencaps of a low def video, possibly the press reel. I haven't seen much of the Aida press reel so I can't say for sure. Here are some more -
Oh no, Jenna, feel better!!
Awww, Aida.
Concussion??? That's not good! Take it easy and feel better!
I love Aida pictures!!!
I have the original Broadway press reel... those aren't from that, but they could be from another one. The one I have is like... a five minute promotional video from very early on. Most of the footage is from Chicago.
