I love that article! It's very cute
Here's the second page, for anyone who hasn't seen it -
I never knew Adam read for Tarzan!!!!!! **swoon**
thank you for sharing that you wear dirty clothing, and aww I love prego bellies!
Why must it be so cold outside?? Brr!!
Anyway, so I've been totally digging this picture for a while now:
Le sigh...Patrick Wilson Makes me want to watch The Phantom of the Opera again; I haven't seen it for a long time.
It's nice to read Adam articles and see nice pictures of Adam on such a cold, dreary day...

Adam's son looks like him.
I find it funny that he wrote on myspace that he was a former fat kid. Somehow I find that hard to believe, but I guess since his wife is such a healthy cook she keeps him looking good! Not to mention he used to be a trainer
I LOVE your new picture MotorTink, those puppies are adorable!
=) Glad to being smiles to peoples faces!
My mind is still focused on imagining Adam in Tarzan.....this is going to be with me for a while. Carry on.
I recently flipped through the new Tarzan book that alot of people have been discussing about on the main board; and I have to admit it is rather interesting. The photography is phenomenal, and I couldn't put it down!
But on another note, I'm pretty happy that Adam was, well, in a nicer term 'dismissed' from the show. Yes, he would have a steady job; don't get me wrong, but...hmmm. It just doesn't sit right with me, imaganing him singing the 'narrator' while Tarzan swings around. Besides, I like hearing Josh Strickland's (sp?) voice, its rather pleasant .
I'm hoping Adam gets a new acting gig soon; a production/show/whatever that will really bring a boost to his career. I don't want him to be thought of as washed up at 37, that be awful.
haha, I'm happy with the choices that were made. But still doesn't mean I can't imagine him swinging around in a loin clothe for a few hours!!
I would die to hear him sing "Everything That I Am" though!
Ooh, I'd never seen that article before. Cape Cod is my favorite place. I have a summer house there that I've been going to since I was a baby.
And even if Adam was in Tarzan, he wouldn't have been wearing a loin cloth, right? I don't want to spoil Tink's fantasies though! I would have loved to hear him sing that score.
I recall from an interview somewhere that he would have been singing off stage while Tarzan would not be singing at all and just acting on stage. Thats what I thought was the initial idea anyway.
I don't remember about him being off stage, but he was definitely not going to be the Tarzan character, rather either a narrator or inner voice for him. Maybe the creative people thought it would be too difficult to find someone with both the athletic ability and voice for the part. At any rate, at some point after that workshop the narrator idea was dropped, and I remember hearing that Adam described himself as still being "superfluously attached" to the project back at the Kean concert in 2004, so maybe he knew then that he wasn't going to be needed after all. He's often mentioned having a great relationship with the Disney people, so I hope they think of him again when a really good project comes up.

Yeah, Adam said his involvement was part of the developmental stage of the Tarzan concept, and I never got the impression he expected to go anywhere with it. And while I've grown to be slightly wary of Disney on Broadway, it would be great if they propelled Adam back to the stage.
I'm with you on that Ariella, it just needs to be a good project, maybe something with an original basis and not one solely based of a cartoon.
Hmm, I thought it did say something about him being off stage, but (*shrugs*) I could be wrong.
Or you could be right - just because I don't remember it doesn't mean it's not true.

Yeah he would have been offstage
too bad. I really want him to do another show soon - even though I know he will be busy with his summer/fall tour. He is just so great in musical productions, I'm getting antsy!
I know he'll get something. I don't know what; but he seems like a smart guy. I think he can handle it
Okay, is it just me, or are Jujyfruits the nastiest candies of all time? I should NOT have gotten them at the movie house...I feel like I'm gonna hurl.

stop it, I HATE those things. To me, candy isn't candy if it's not chocolate. Although I do go for any gummy/sour candy - like those gross sour worms and stuff.
Oh man, Sour Patch Kids are the BOMB! But you're right, candy ain't candy without chocolate. Especially dark chocolate. Here's hoping the Easter Bunny will bring me yummy treats Sunday!
Meh, dark chocolate not so much, milk chocolate is where it's at...yo.

When I first found out that Adam was a good cook, I confess I was considerably surprised.
Recently, Adam has said he's considering more traditional Broadway projects, so hopefully the wait won't be indefinite.
Count me into the chocolate fan club.
I am in love with chocolate. I making sure my mom takes away all my easter treats for a few weeks because I will eat all the chocolate at once and I'm trying to get into shape for tryouts in 2 weeks, so I want to hold off until then.
