oh Adam changed his myspace picture, too. sly fox
Ok, so of course I'm going off-topic, like I always do, but I had to share my exciting news. I'm going to prom this year!!! I couldn't go last year because i didn't have anyone to go with, but this year I do so, yay!
Going back on topic (somewhat) I think I might try to contact those booking people to see if they can get a show at my college.
It's an old new picture, but I like it better.
The best part of prom is the dress shopping.
I LOVED my prom dress. I had it made from my own design (discoverd and uncle I never knew I had and he decided to buy my dress, so I said ok!). I wish I had a place to wear it to again.
My dress was really, really pretty, but in retrospect, I wish I had gone with something a little bit less traditional and taken a bit more of a risk... you know, something more exciting.

the prom brings back memories.. I loved my senior prom dress - I still have it in my attic. I will never be able to wear it again, but I love the color of it so much. It was like a deep red, not too bright and not too dark.
Are you going out after prom?
I wonder how much Adam charges to do a show at a college..
One more year till prom, one more year!
mine was a strapless black satin dress with black mesh from right below boobs to waist. Then into a straight skirt, with a slit all the way up the front left leg. I was such a hoochie, but it looked so elegant.
I wore black to my junior prom, and by the following year, I wished I hadn't because I would have rathered wear black to senior prom. Mine was a really light green, strapless with a couple of pretty beads across the chest, down to the floor, A-line, but not toooo poofy. I almost bought this gorgeous dress, but chickened out of being too bold. It was black and pale pink, strapless with criss-crossed ribbons on the top ... kind of like a corset, but not slutty. It was knee length, and the skirt part had several layers -- really light and flowy. It's hard to describe, but it was beautiful.
I wore a fire engine red dress to my Jr Prom - of course I wore it with black and white old school Adidas sneakers (I injured my foot a few days before, couldn't wear heels other than in picture. So instead of buying nice flats, i wore my ADIDAS)
I love my dress I already went shopping for it because even if I didn't get a date I was still gonna go because it's my senior year. I'll try to post a picture of it. And I don't really know if we're going out after prom. I'll probably do stuff the next day with my friends, but my date has to take the SAT's that day, so he won't be there.
Let's see if I can get this to work
ETA Yay! I did it!
That's absolutely gorgeous! I think peach is one of those colors that flatters everyone.
That is a realllllly pretty dress! I'll see if I can find a pic of mine.
Ooh, pretty. GREAT color choice.
Seems like it was yesterday, but it was far from it, lol!
Ooh pretty.
I only have 2 pictures from my prom because my camera broke and didn't advance the film. I don't mind that much; it was fun and I have good memories. My dress was strapless and light blue and satiny. When I was shopping for it, my mom ended up having store credit, I had a gift card leftover from my birthday and it was on sale, so I ended up getting it for $30.
That's awesome skittles. I enjoy the pictures from Prom weekend better than the actual prom, lol! Good times.
Thanks, Em!
I wish I had an excuse these days to wear a formal, pretty dress. It's fun to have a reason on occasion. I'd prefer if society were still a bit more formal as opposed to people think it's socially acceptable to show up to a Broadway show in sweatpants. Just when I thought I was getting over the Sweeney incident, I see some girl at Company with her sweatpants stuffed in her Uggs.
Aside from being super theater-appropriate, how... fashionable.

Once, when I was in the middle of moving, the only clothing I had at the home I was still living in were my worn pajamas and my prom dress. I don't remember how this happened. But, as there was also no food at the house, I ended up going to Denny's in my prom dress. If you're gonna dress like a fool anywhere, might as well be Denny's after midnight.
I also wish there were more situations in this society where dressing formally felt more appropriate. I feel out of place half the time at theatre events, and almost always in nice restaurants.
I never went to prom. I went to our senior dinner dance and wore a plain black dress. High school is overrated.
(I'm going back a couple of pages, sorry. I've read damn near everything related to the Rent movie, and don't need to be shown excerpts from the Rent blog. Thanks, though. )
What's Adam's official Myspace page? I feel weird for not having him on my friend's list.
It's a hard one to figure out.
