The production is absolute genius. Everything about it. Oh God, I'm so excited.

I wonder how the production will pan out. Will the change anything, do you think?
I dunno, they say they're reviving the revival... so probably not much major.

not much yet, but a starting point! They also mildly updated his imdb page. I just realized the kid from Drake and Josh is in American Primitive, too

Haha, my prom date looks just like RENT Adam, and sounds just like him too! Awsome!

He's kind of a dork, though. Just one of my best friends, so it's not like I'm romantically linked to Adam's twin or anything! My friends are all flipping out, which is just funny.

HA! I love High School. It sure beats Middle School (aka Hell). I really cannot wait to get a little freedom, though!
Prom with Adam-Look-Alike, Matt? Here I come!
Have a good time -
Emcee, I'm really excited to be able to see Cabaret too. Who would have ever guessed this production would be coming back? Does anyone know if this is supposed to be a limited run or not?
I never would've guessed in a million years that this would be one of the shows they brought back by "Xerox," as Brantley called it. In theory, I don't like the idea, but I'm willing to let that slide because of how much I love this particular production. When it closed, I always knew that if I could somehow choose one show to bring back one day, this would be it. I miss it a lot. I don't think there's any information about a time frame yet, though. I can't imagine they'd want to keep one of their houses booked for too long, so I'm assuming it'll be limited and stay limited (unlike Les Mis), but that's just speculation.
I'm not sure what "after Sunday in the Park closes" means, but it sounds like this will be later next year. It should be quite a time, with Billy Elliot coming in then also.
Oh, right, I totally forgot that I read that; I think Sunday... will be where The Apple Tree was this year, so Cabaret would probably be this time next year?

still not an offical release, but something.
hopefully its not a hacker. I'm paranoid ever since that person hacked into lindsay lohan's email and myspace, lol
And there we go! lol, "oh, and by the way...." - Hahah.
Yaaaay, he's the boyfriend! I am shamelessly a straight female who enjoys male-on-male action. (Anyone else noticed how he says it's his first ON SCREEN kiss with a boy? Heh.)
I'm miserably ill, so I needed the smile that post put on my face. I have to say, though, I'm more excited about Cabaret coming back than I am about this. Whoops.

yeah, I like how he just added it in there.
feel better! well, this year for theater is really looking up - rent, cabaret, little mermaid ... hehe
The Little Mermaid is my all-time favorite movie. I can't bear the thought of the musical.
Hee, Em, I love your fondness for boy on boy action. And the specification was amusing.
Hey now, you have no room to talk.
*flails* Cabareeeeeet.

really? I was put off at first too (its my favorite movie too) but I actually really liked some of the new songs from the demo. We'll see what happens with the rest of the production.
And I did notice the "on screen" specifics of Adam's statement. Well, you never know - he might have had a crazy life before marriage and the kids..
I'm a The Little Mermaid purist, I guess. I feel like Disney has long abandoned its concern with artistic integrity. The Lion King was a full-blown artistic sucess and Taymor's work in general is heaven on earth. Aida was gorgeous. But now I feel like they just don't care.
I wasn't suggesting that I had room to talk!
Good.

I think I'm delirious, I should probably log out.
