yea it was on the voicesforrent homepage, not on their messageboard/forum thingie
Some of you were wondering where I got certain info about American Primitive, and I found the page again, for those who haven't seen it. It describes a handful of supporting roles in the film, and mentions a few plot points.

interesting, thanks!
this is such a tease about info on his new tour http://www.thebookinggroup.com/adam.html
And now we have one more thing we need to find out about Adam in addition to the Rent rumor: the new tour dates.

exactly. I just realized yesterday that BB Kings is 2 weeks away. I am so excited.. I just need to concentrate on my final assignments before that...!
I'm crossing my fingers that Ariella and I can book Adam somewhere in the Twin Cities area. None of the colleges/venues I emailed have answered back, which is starting to irk me.
By the way, if you live in the Midwesteren part of the US, how long do you think a letter would take to reach the East Coast?

it depends what type of delivery you choose, but you can get an idea here http://postcalc.usps.gov/
A few days, longer if you sent it around the weekend.
Thanks for the link
Adam has so much going on at the moment that it feels strangely superfluous to post anything. I guess we're all waiting to hear who he's playing in American Primitive, when and where his new Broadway-themed shows will be, and whether or not he's going back to Rent.
yeah, many open ended questions at the moment. It's good in one aspect as it keeps everyone baited, but sucks if you hate waiting. He's going to announce at the BB Kings show and I'll be upset since I can't go!!!

Unless you know something I don't, I doubt he's going to announce anything at the BB King's show. He doesn't seem to talk about his other projects at his shows unless directly asked, and I think he's even less likely to mention something about the Rent rumor considering nothing has been officially confirmed. In my opinion, it's frustrating that Anthony even mentioned it at his book signings. I realize he's probably trying to generate positive vibes surrounding their potential return, but all I've seen is a lot of confusion and judgement on the part of many, sans the "ohmigod it's Adam and Anthony!" girls. It's one thing to think their potential return is sad on their parts or even to disagree with it, but nothing bothers me more than people acting too cool for it when they're so clearly NOT. At any rate, I don't understand the point of Anthony announcing anything before it's official. Updated On: 4/29/07 at 07:41 PM
oh no no, I know the same amount everyone else does. That statement was meant in a more ironic type of fashion.
I get you, Tink. You mean that since you can't be there, that would be the one time Adam starts announcing things at a show. I'm beginning to think we need a "sarcasm alert" emoticon.
Exactly!
Lexi, I'm not sure why it's considered cool in certain circles to put down Adam, but you know those people are going to be first in line at the box office.

I get what you were trying to say as well, Tink. It was just difficult to discern from the original message. My bitterness wasn't directed at you, just at Anthony Rapp and the reaction he's caused among many. The decision to announce somewhat unconfirmed plans ahead of time to a select few makes no sense at all. And yes, Chloe, I agree. That was basically the point of my post - a group of people who think they're too cool for this and Rent in general but obviously are truly not. Updated On: 4/29/07 at 08:31 PM

People who think they're too cool for Adam, Anthony, and Rent in general but obviously are not. There was a time when I would surely think that meant me.
example: If I did somehow end up at the BB Kings show, I'm sure I'd be too busy anesthetizing myself with alchol to catch any important announcements.
The few times I've attempted to be ironic or sarcastic it hasn't exactly worked out.
Those of you who'll be at BB King's will hopefully have a chance to ask him about all this stuff. (I'm going to try to make it, but it's not looking good.)

here, here. I am going next thursday but do people usually ask him about those types of things after shows? At this point I would consider myself lucky to even meet him
I would ask, but I feel like that show (just by nature of the venue's size) is going to be one of those times where a huge group of girls runs around like one of headless chickens and Adam's people lie so he doesn't have to deal with the mob. If it works out sans mass chaos, though, I'll mention it.
I can't wait to hear details/see pics. It really sucks that I can't make it.
Some people do, misschung, but it all depends on what you feel comfortable with. I hope you get to meet him anyway.
Craww, I'm afraid you lost all your "too cool for Adam" cred by posting here.

It generally bothers me when people claim to be "too cool" for anything. Not that one should go to the other fangirl extreme either, but still.
I have only been to BB Kings once before and it is pretty small. I can see it could suddenly go in the direction of a BSB concert circa 1997. I am happy to be going to the show itself, so if I don't meet him its not that big a deal. I plan on taking LOTS of pictures.
I think its funny that he's named the new tour his "Broadway State of Mind" tour. I sort of hope (in vain) that they make shirts, hehe
I thought it was 500 seats? Compared to many venues, it's small, but for this kind of show, it's pretty big. Other places that he's played in the city are closer to 100.
