i've always been a sucker for the long haired rocker types so movie Adam was awesome for me. It actually took a bit for me to get used to him with short hair. Now, I kinda go wow, that doesn't even look like him. And i have to admit Adam with short-hair is even better than Adam with long hair

I'll join those who didn't think Adam was good looking at first. It was years later seeing him in person that I was like "he's so pretty" and even then it wasn't OMGZ HOTT! I still don't think Adam's generically "hot".
I totatally agree with you Polly. See, I listened to the OBC album alot before the film came out, but I had really no idea what Adam or anyone else in the show looked like (sans Taye Diggs and Jesse L. Martin). So I was pleasantly suprised to see this extremely attractive rocker (with shaggy blonde hair SQUEEE ) shaking his bon-bon in La Vie Boheme. I was in heaven~
But now I like both his long and short hair. The long hair will always be a personal fav; but with shorter hair you can see his nice facial features better. Which is always a bonus!

oh, admit it, we all know about the secret shrine you have going on in your dorm room! BTW, how were you ever able to get a few clippings of his hair????

No rules, Polly. My roommate would just have a field day if I did.
That really stinks about your computer. My laptop has a virus right now and my first thought was that I'd lose all the pictures and video files that took me so long to find.
I hate when computers have viruses. The last time I had one my dad had to literally reboot the entire computer system, and I lost everything. I really don't care about the Adam pictures I lost, but I had alot of pictures with my friends that were really precious to me. At least most of them were saved on my Facebook account, so a major oofta needs to be said!

There is nothing worse than having your computer crash! Mine did about a month ago, and while I was able to recover most of my music, I lost most of my pictures from my trip to London and Paris last year. Luckily, my favorites were on my facebook account, but it still sucks.
I always tease my former roommate about Adam. She is strictly into girls, except for a short list of what she calls her "hot men over 30" which includes Adam. When we went to see the movie, she leaned over at one point and said, "I think I have a really big crush on him." If anyone even brings him up she blushes, it cracks me up every single time. I was always drawn to his voice, and like most of you, it was more of a gradual realization that he's kind of pretty. Once I saw him in person I was pretty much sold.
My computer crashed last year. It was a nightmare. I'm sorry, Polly.
For me, Adam was in the picture before hormones were even an active force. My memories of the Rent OBC are extremely fuzzy at best, and I was relatively young the first time I saw Aida as well. And then suddenly I had an epiphany between Aida and Cabaret.
Always burn pictures and music on to DVDs/CDs as back up. Buzz is a computer guy and you don't know how many crying people he has had to console that lost precious things because their computer crashed.

I'm so paranoid about personal pictures and always back them up on disks. Same thing with school files. I learned the hard way when I lost a computer to a virus I got from Limewire.
ETA: I was catching up from posts last night. Forgot you were leaving Tink. When do you head out? Vegas, right?
My fiance and his team are being sent to play in a national pool tournament (our team went last year also), so I will be tagging along this year. I'm not a big gambler, the craziest I go is the nickel slots. I am there more for the pool and plenty of alcohol! :) I'm easy to please.

Sounds fun! I hope he and his team do well! My boyfriend and I are hopefully going to Vegas in January. He's big into poker, and like you, I'm big into laying by the pool and drinking lots of alcohol.
Ah, the Vegas. My boyfriend and I are going next week. We're not water/pool people and we don't like to gamble, but Vegas holds a lot of personal history for us. We're also seeing Celine and Phantom, and spending as much time as possible at the Star Trek Experience getting our geek on.
We may see a Cirque show if we get a chance, otherwise I'm not too crazy about the shows. ALL i want to do is hold/feed a damn baby lion or tiger, but there just never seems to be cubs when I am out there.

I've only seen two Cirque shows (O and Mystere), and I very much preferred Mystere. BUT, Celine's show (which is basically "Cirque du Celine") is better than either one of them.
