Oh well, wouldn't have fit my resolution anyway. I wish they'd just release the high quality versions of the photos without the hideous pink-n-purple background. It's still astounding to me that Rent's marketing company hasn't dropped those colors from their advertising campaign.

Oh, and on a completely random note before I forget, skittles and I were browsing the various Rent-related forums last night and I stumbled upon a funny anecdote - apparently someone shouted "your wife is so lucky!" to Adam at the stagedoor, and he replied with "no, I am!" How cute is that?

Very sweet! I agree that the Rent Now look is all wrong, but thanks for the link. I kind of like the Light My Candle shot.

GG, you're probably up to speed by now, but Adam was out last night because of a sore throat/laryngitis.

I like the Light my Candle one, too. I wish I could photoshop the ugly border out.

Is that story from Facebook? I've been in bed sick for the past two days and searching for new pictures, reviews and stuff and read that last night.

Just out of curiosity, have any of you tried the lotto yet?

Tried (and won) all the way back on the 7th. We were very lucky, it was (of course) quite crowded. Even the off chance is worth trying, I'd say, because of how truly incredible it was to see them from those seats.

I mean, imagine Anthony shirtless and flexing.

I was gonna make a joke about how I'd be into that, but it felt meaner than when I called him an Ebola monkey.

I tried the lotto last Wednesday, for the matinee. Honestly, the crowd was not THAT bad. If you're in the area, it's worth trying, though. It's like twenty minutes out of your life, and someone has to win. Why not?

You can get there like ten minutes before and just put your name in then. There's no need to get there early. Sometimes they also draw names for SRO, but I'm not sure how they determine whether they will or not. But they sell the side orchestra seats and some others that are left over to the people who lose for $45 or $60.

Thanks. That's my mentality. Somebody has to win, right? I just wanted to know how the crowds have been. I wonder if you can still go to the box office earlier in the day and get the $45 tickets. I know people were doing that earlier in the run.
