I don't hate MySpace, but I don't particularly like it, either. It's not the safest thing, and it absorbs people most of the time and makes them obsessed. I prefer talking to my friends more in person.

I was obsessed at first, but it wears off. I use it now more for sending messages than actual comments or anything like that. I signed up for facebook finally last week but have yet to figure out how to do anything with it. That will be saved for a night when I have insomnia.

What is the difference between MySpace and Facebook? I've never actually been to Facebook...

I spend way too much time on Facebook. It's still slightly stalkerish, but you can control who sees what in your profile. Like Myspace, the novelty wears off after a while.

Facebook seems like a good way of staying in touch with people (especially as so many people use it), and I have friends scattered across the country. I'm just worried about what would happen if I got it so close to the start of school.

I don't like myspace. I never got it, even when it was at the height of popularity. Now that it's dying out, I consider myself to be ahead of the trend.

I LOVE Facebook! It's a great way to keep in contact with friends who you may not see as often as you like; and I also like that there is a lot of control over who sees what with you're profile (which makes me feel more comfortable). But honestly Facebook and Myspace are pretty similar, except Myspace has the tendancy for making national news about internet stalkers/sex offenders (which could be somewhat controlled if there weren't the majority of idiots who post there cell # and address in there profiles).

I also love joining random Facebook groups. It entertains me so re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 13!

Sounds like Facebook is winning out.

I don't think I'll be getting either one anytime in the future. My friends have them, but to me it just seems like a waste is I can just call them or instant message them.

I used to IM my friends all the time too, but I've really gotten out of that phase. Basically the three things I do while I'm online are BWW, Facebook, and Youtube. Except Youtube has been screwing up my computer for some reason...but I love it so much I can't help watching!

I love YouTube as well!

I prefer to call people rather than IM them, but if the phone is busy I use it. Or if I don't have the person's number.

I always have AIM up but only chat with a few people regularly (ironically all from BWW lol). I text message on my phone WAY to much instead, lol.

Yup, I'm the same way. I always have an away message up. People who know me know that means I'm most likely still sitting there.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only person without a Myspace account. I had one for about a day, but the entire site made my computer freeze so I deleted it. I'm definitely much more of a Facebook girl, and it's been helpful when my friends do semesters abroad and I can't call them.

Chloe, that sounds like a scary experience! I really hope that man is alright.

ETA: Oh No They Didn't! has posted news of the extension, some of the comments are rude but at least we get a nice picture to look at.

Brina, it sounds like you think only people on myspace can access Adam's blog, but that's not the case. Anyone can read it.

I'm just full of links this afternoon. Trent from Pink is The New Blog also attended the show last night and posted a mini review at the end of today's post with some pictures.

Chloe, what I don't understand is that when someone originally posted there about The Return, the response was positive. I don't get what has changed in the last few weeks.

The people who haven't seen them on stage and yet feel the need to comment on their age simply come across as ignorant. I haven't read one negative comment(age wise)from people who have seen them. It's not about how old they are, it's how they read on stage. I don't think someone who saw the show without knowing the backstory would think twice. Besides... I am 34 and I am most certainly not old.
