I saw the show tonight with a ticket I bought from months ago, back when I thought I was only going to see the show with them a couple of times (yeah right...). Don't have
too much to say. As to someone's earlier comment about how Anthony was holding back vocally last night (or was it two nights ago? I forgot)... I felt that his voice was showing
very slight signs of tiredness that wouldn't be noticeable had I not seen him earlier in their run, but not signs of sickness. Like Anthony, I don't think Adam sounds quite as fresh as he did earlier in their run, but not sick. Adam doesn't seem to be going for the high riffed note in Glory anymore - better to skip the riff if he knows his voice isn't fresh enough for it, but it saddens me a bit as I always thought it was particularly thrilling. Again, though, I wouldn't even be aware of any of this had I not seen them early on. Their take on the characters was, as always, stellar.
Justin Johnston still annoys me (although he actually ad-libbed a line during I'll Cover You, shocker), Tamyra still underwhelms me, and I like Nicolette Hart more every time I see her. Her voice is a bit grating, but I can't get over her stunning stage presence. And of course, Merle is a goddess.
A thread-appropriate tidbit: right before Today 4 U, Adam was having a lot of trouble catching the coffee, cigarettes, etc. to the point where Anthony accidentally threw one of the items on the empty chair where Adam was supposed to be (Adam was picking up everything from the floor). Well, it was funny in person, anyway.
I glanced briefly at the "new" stagedoor formation (it actually seemed to be set up in the same way as before, but I didn't get a good look at all) but quickly left; I wasn't in the mood for the screams tonight.
Also, I don't get the sense that the girl on IMDB is lying - if she were, I'd imagine she'd post all sorts of stories about the people she mentioned or embellish the story a bit more. Plus, I can totally see it.

(Mullets were so hot back then.)
